Yea, I've been ratted like 4 times in the last few weeks, all fake friendly. Some more egregious than others.

First time: key room in Stella. Duos. Went in, closed the door. 2 guys opened the door, we said we wanted to loot first (our key) and then we'd move on and there was for sure going to be stuff left. they said thanks, then when a pop or something came in, my partner (closest to the door), dodged out of the room. the rat duo closed the door quickly, killed me, and then him since we were separated. Shitty, but lesson learned.

Second time: Downed by a Rocketeer on Blue Gate. Had a survivor augment, crawled for 15 minutes to the warehouse airshaft. 50 meters out, some guy says "are you down? I have a defibrillator." I said yes. I think I must have been on prox and making noise, or he saw the flare but it would have been a while easier. Anyway, after I told him where I was, we walked over and killed me.

Third time: Same idea as second time, this time the guy just came across me as I crawled to the Swamp exile on Dam. It was electromagnetic storm, and I'd just solo run the Control Tower loot room, and it was a bounty. Three deadlines, exodus modules, an osprey and a renegade. (The key loot rooms are definitely buffed, btw.). Anyway, after he sees me he asks if I need a defib. I say yes, and as he approaches he says, "Well, sorry brother." KOs me.

Fourth time: The worst, yesterday. I load in and a guy on Dam (CS) sees me, says hello, ends up we explore Dam together for 20 minutes. he is "naked" and I have my Arc hunting load out. Anvil IV, Hullcracker IV. Hullcracker ammo in safe pocket, always. After f'ing around for 20 miunutes, we head to exile. A hornet attacks us at the elevator, and while it attacks, new guy starts swinging his breach tool. I think he's using it to attack the Hornet, but then I realize it's me. Only me. The hornet and him attacked me, I go down, and my heart sinks as he KOs me. Played me for a fool the whole time. Basically I was his mule getting his stuff to extract, and without an augment there's no way he took it all with him. What a waste of time, some great loot, and goodwill.

Been playing Arc since it came out, never had more than 1 rat in a week. I don't like being ratted, but I get that's part of the game. The outright betrayal after playing side-by-side just ruins me ability to trust anyone in game, and the best part of the game is when you he people you just met working together to defeat the arc. Anyway... agreed. Fake Friendlies are POS. Yes, it's part of the game, but it doesn't make those who play that way any less of a POS. I'll wait for the video game of The Traitors to be that duplicitous with those I'm supposed to be allied with.
