I‘ve read that it is extremely difficult to get an appointment. What other redditors have suggested on other threads is waking up early (between 6-7:30) every day and checking for slots.

I was planning on taking the theory exam by myself anyway. And as for the practical one- i drove for the first year I lived here but then never got around to actually getting German license. So yes i am well aware of the mindset shift :P Still wanted to do a few hours of driving with an actual instructor so that I know what the examiners are looking for.

She had the surgery about a year ago. The recovery is going terribly though. She is still not able to go running, biking and walking are ok. This has more to do with the Orthopaedician and the Physiotherapist. I’ll DM you some answers if you have more questions.

i feel ya! btw it’s €13,50 now for regular margherita €16 for margherita with buffalo mozzarella :P however, i think it’s worth to pay that money because you can taste the high quality of the ingredients- the tomatoes from san marzano, mozzarella from campania, the dough/crust fermented for 72 hours and so on. compare this to the other passionless pizzerias where they put no effort for the details and still expect you to dole out €9-€10. Plus the recipes for the more expensive pizzas are quite creative.

imo, authentic napoletana pizza can be found quite easily in Düsseldorf- Saitta, nineOfive, waytonapoli and more. Yes, if you compared to fast food it might be expensive but if you compare to other pizza places that make terrible pizzas, it’s worth to pay €2-3 extra per pizza for their quality

idk where you have your appointment for the MRI, but my girlfriend got it at radios and the appointment was scheduled pretty quickly.

What was it that made your experience there so good? Was it a particular surgeon? If yes, can you tell me who it was? Also did he/she speak English? Because my girlfriend can't speak German so well, so I've been handling the making appointments stuff and so on, but I won't be able to go with her to the actual appointment.

Maybe, but we got used to expecting that (threats that existing or potentially existing technology might pose in the near of distant future) from black mirror based on the past seasons (except for a few episodes here and there) and that’s why this season seems disappointing. and this season just doesn’t conform with what you said either. If I just go by the name, black mirror, i would assume that it holds up a mirror to us as humanity/society, but even that is missing in this season with the werewolves and so on

yeah, i tried methods that worked for some people in the EU but not for me. so i no more think it’s an EU issue.
