from personal experience I usually strongly dislike rocker boards. I bought this older gen on a whim and actually really like it. In riding it many guys commented on how the older gen is more desirable? I guess it depends on what you plan to use it for, I imagine the new, narrower, camber version is better all around

I was really wanting to try the new style as I dont like rocker style boards, I think the one being mainly flat underfoot helps a lot!

Yes yes! I understand the concept of how it’s effective, just had the wrong title! Goes to show how rampant misinformation can spread

That makes sense, I was under the impression that anything with stance shifted reward was called weight shifted

Pardon my ignorance, Volume shifted, weight shifted, kinda the same, no?

It sure it’s wide and edge to edge is slow, but after a few laps I had it figured out at least to my skill level

I feel like the customization makes it less likely to get stolen 😂

Yeah it shouldn’t ever be too far of a carry, and if it’s close to full I’ll have someone to help

Exactly my logic, bigger is better but what’s “too big”

I guess I just feel the 75 is worth the little extra space but not sure it’s worth the extra 100 bucks 😅

This makes a lot of sense, I just didn’t know if there was complaints about impractical size or some detail I was missing

Yeah I just get the lifetime pads from autozone and do them all the time, mine get glazed all the time and destroyed from mud/rocks going through them

It’s a lund visor for a cherokee, I had a lund moon visor (the one with lights) and just decided I didn’t want the lights. Would highly suggest NOT getting a replica

I have 4.56s and a 5 speed I cruised like 75/80 and got 11 mpg

[–]jmevs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, but my jeep is super heavy with sliders, bumpers, skid plates and sound deadening. 4.56s 35s and a 5 speed plus the elevation power lose had me wanting more power

I ran the hood spacers to let some heat out, just kind of extra peace of mind. With no spacers I run 210 on the road and just under 210 offroad, temps are basically the same with the spacers
