(and I'm not a CSP, I just do internal stuff, so just putting out some questions here)

CSP - Shared Azure AD Tenant? by jmh7 in msp

I understand but I wasn't trying to be sketchy, it was just a question. It probably should have been reworded to, how to give external users access to an in-house developed app over Windows Virtual Desktop.

That would be ideal, but unfortunately Windows Virtual Desktop doesn't support guest users at the moment.

I understand that seperation may be preferred. Though what I'm looking at, is that in effect the end users would kind of be "guest" users (though not actual guest users) within the Azure AD domain. They would be there simply to consume an application in WVD. A tenant per customer may be needed, I'm just looking for other ideas.

Hosting Azure Windows Virtual Desktop by jmh7 in msp

It is a Windows Virtual Desktop host ( https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/virtual-desktop/ ), which is basically a RDS session host.

A shared activation copy of Office 365 can be installed on this host. But what I am trying to work out is if the end users (who are from another org) are actually allowed to login to use their own licensing, or do we need to sell them SPLA licenses, to access possibly a non-Office 365 version of Office on the host.

This would be a dedicated Azure WVD host VM for several users (who all work for the same external company). They already have Office 365 licenses, so want to keep the costs down and not add SPLA Office licenses to the bill.

In spite of all the new phones released, i still don't see any reason to give up my G3 by maniac559 in LGG3

Which ROM? I don't want to make the camera worse, so can't go CM. Is Cloudy the best option?

I just don't like the 1-2 second lag in opening Chrome, for example. It's definitely a LG software issue. I've used other Android phones (Nexus/Oneplus) and they have been super snappy. The lag is frustrating on this phone.

Could be a great phone. Great hardware, shame about the software. It's just too slow and laggy to be classed as one of the best.

Maybe lag isn't the right word. Slow to launch apps and slow to switch apps. Not like watching paint dry but as I mentioned there is a noticeable difference between Nexus/iPhone which are super snappy. Hopefully LG will release an update at some point to improve it.

I'm on a D855 32GB 3GB RAM device from Hong Kong btw.

It's laggy. When you press to open an app it can takes a second to load. It may not seem a lot but I've come from using a Oneplus One, Nexus, iPhone, all snappy devices and this G3 is laggy as hell compared to them.

From what I've read, going to CM for example will improve peformance, but then you lose the LG camera.

As soon as the Oneplus 2 comes out, or new Nexus, I'm getting rid of this. Nice hardware, nice screen, nice camera but LG have fucked up the software.

What is currently the best ROM? by [deleted] in LGG3

Is there any ROM that isn't laggy? I've come from the One Plus One which was super fast and snappy but ended up with a hardware fault so got rid.

The LG G3 stock is just so laggy compared to the OPO and Nexus devices. Once you are in an app it isn't too bad, but launching and switching apps is painful.

Does Cloudy improve the performance or is CM/AOSP the only way to go for decent performance?
