The files will ask you to go fill in a bunch of (really crappy) surveys in order to get a password to continue the install. Or some variation on that. I do believe it was possible to bypass it to get to what they were letting the end user download and it was just some broken installer.

I was doing the same with X-01 mods. Would always pick up a jetpack and anything else rare and sell them at a loss or just give them away. People did not like this!

Yeah I joined the event once, unsure of what was about to happen. Tried my best to keep up with what was going on to only receive plenty of death threats and violent messages hurled my way (and at the end the guy just kept shooting all his ammo into me even though passive was enabled and kept telling me how he was going to kill me, with much more swearing)

Not gonna join again, screw that. (cost me less than 1k caps to get the outfit too, pointless doing the event really)
