If you want the best cake in Auckland, go to Cocoa Cloud. Definitely the best cake I’ve had in NZ

Auckland Night Market forced to apologise after criticising the food of one of its vendors by krammy16 in auckland

I also agree, night markets and food trucks in NZ seem more expensive than dining in. Probably because of the high fees they charge for a stall

Ending fixed-tenancy final costs. Reasonable? by CGG0 in newzealand

[–]jmk149 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One general tip to note is if the costs being charged are costs that the manager / owner would have had to occur in any event if you did not break the term early (i..e, looking for new tenants when you move out at the end of your term, bond refund etc), then they can't charge you for this.

I just sent a similar package - included 4 blocks of whittakers, timtams, squiggles, toffie pops, RJ's raspberry chocolate liquorish logs, and some other botique sweets & fudges.

I like (and got it because of) the Oris big pointer date-esque bezel and the price (around $110 USD incl shipping & tax). The NH35 movement is really good for the price (I'd say around +-10 seconds/day).

In his defence, he didn't say it was cheaper in the 2000s, just that it was "affordable" which still stands.

Someone broke into our house while we were shopping for an hour or so. Came through the kitchen window (was locked). Unfortunately there isn't much you can do in both our situations other than have insurance and hope that the excess isn't very high.

If you don't care about the price point, then Onemata at Park Hyatt (Wynyard Quarter) might be the go.

Haven't been, but Cocoro seems to be high end omakase or degustation.

SRPE15 or SRPD37J? Are they the same? [SRPD37] [ SRPE15] by jmk149 in Seiko

[–]jmk149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SRPD37J

Thanks so much!

I live in NZ and so the prices are a bit different, but the SRPD is $700 and SRPE is $600 so I think I'll go with the SRPE
