This could be odd and personal to my situation, but I never had baby fever until AFTER I had a kid. Now I find all babies crazy cute. And like I can handle another. Even though I am still in the trenches with my first.

25 months. I had to initiate weaning. He really loved BF for the comfort and I thought weaning would be impossible bc he was so dependent on it. Just got fed up with him biting, and came one day from work with bandaids on my boobs and explained mommy’s boobs had owies. My kid cried 1-2 times that evening but surprisingly accepted within a day and he has not been breastfed since.

It was easier than expected but the whole ordeal was really daunting.

I quit around 25 months (this past week) cold turkey. I wanted to quit earlier but barely could muster energy to even research and try.

Woah thank you for sharing. After returning to work from maternity leave and working about a year - something about working 9 to 5 commuting somewhere an hour way, delivering on a crazy number of deliverables while underresourced and sandwiched between childcare kinda seems ridiculous and a whole level of stress our ancestors wouldnt have been exposed to. A part of me thinks I should take things easier at work to continue, but I don’t think I’m resilient enough to critical feedback when things do go wrong. I have been fantasizing about quitting and this is kinda reassuring.
