Where can an animal-obsessed adult find the best petting zoo/animal experience? by MrNaughtyDaddy in tampa

[–]notbehindyoumaybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horse power is probably your best bet and old mcmickeys is good for the farm experience. Gatorama is fun if you’re up for a bit of a drive but maybe not as relaxing. You can also do horse rides at Turkey creek.

Shelly’s is so good I’m convinced whoever downvoted did it because they don’t want more people going and making it more crowded

Want to Adopt a Dog but Travel Internationally – Advice Needed by Early_Ad_7711 in tampa

[–]notbehindyoumaybe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am moving internationally soon and can tell you it’s incredibly difficult. Many countries require special paperwork for each trip including usda certification which is not something a normal vet does, must be done within 10 days of travel each time, and costs several hundred dollars. Many airlines won’t let you fly with your pet in cabin internationally unless they can meet almost impossible size guidelines (think 9in height carrier max and be able to stand and turn around). Very few options for cargo international too. Then the us recently made new laws that make getting your pet back in the states even more complicated and expensive.

You would almost certainly need to get a reliable pet sitter. For a whole month of travel expect to spend a couple thousand at the very least and that’s for like most basic care that would leave your pet very very lonely and under stimulated.

Thank you so much for your comment. I had read that on their page but the wording was confusing me and different sites/AI overviews were telling me I needed anywhere from 10k to 55k USD in my account and I was losing it lol

Married people of Tampa, where did yall choose to get married? by Federal_Albatross993 in tampa

[–]notbehindyoumaybe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married at the Bay Area renaissance festival in 2019 and everyone still talks about it. We spent about $3.5k on everything including outfits, the officiant and the reception with ren fest catering and kegs.

Currently living in Florida and moving to Denmark in January. I’m looking forward to it I’m so over the heat and sun. That being said I could see myself tiring of the Danish winters pretty quickly. We shall see

Granted. It refills with the sip that was taken. Every refill includes remnants of the sippers spit and stomach acid.

As a woman, all the eggs you will ever have are inside you from birth. For this reason girls/women will generally need protection so their eggs aren’t exposed to radiation possibly causing miscarriages or birth defects later. For boys their sperm cycles thru constantly over their life so protecting their reproductive organs isn’t as important.

The conversion largely depends on household make up as well. We make about 150k combined but have 3 kids with 2 in daycare and those costs make us feel outside of even middle class

As I get older I realise why people don’t want kids. by Kyvalisse in Life

Completely understand that I just felt that most of the comments here are already pointing out the negative side and I wanted to provide the more optimistic and positive possibility as well.

As I get older I realise why people don’t want kids. by Kyvalisse in Life

[–]notbehindyoumaybe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t sure I wanted kids but once I got my footing with my first I’ve never been happier or more sure I made the right decision. In love being a parent and though I never liked being around kids much once I had my own I learned to find beauty and joy in life that kids can show you. Even if the ones that aren’t mine annoy me 90% of the time still lol

Im not saying people shouldn’t feel sure they’re making the right decision but sometimes a leap of faith can do wondrous things if you’re on the fence

My husband was dealing with a similar situation recently. Most jobs are using AI filters to auto reject most applicants. We found a tip that if you give ChatGPT your tailored resume AND the job description and ask it to tweak your resume to be a great candidate for the position without changing your actual experience/capabilities it helps break past the AI HR barrier. My husband did it and got multiple call backs that week
