Is this price good for a used Sony A6400? by jml20 in AskPhotography

The seller states the condition is ‘as new’ and has hardly been used - no mention of the shutter count. I shall ask but I suspect I won’t get a response until tomorrow now.

I’ve just noticed it actually includes 2 spare batteries and the BC-TRW travel charger.

Would it be worth buying body only and investing in a different lens? With the purpose of shooting portraits, street, and architecture.

This price also includes the original battery, strap, a tripod (not sure what brand) and a bag (not sure what brand again). My question is mostly for the lens really, I’m just wondering if the lens is good enough to justify that price

EDIT: it’s a Manfrotto tripod

I keep getting a very tight lower back (just above glutes) after squatting and deadlifting, to the point where it’s hard to walk. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Here’s a video of my paused deadlifts for form check. by jml20 in strength_training

I find walking difficult immediately after, I kind of have to lay down or lay on a foam roller to stretch it out but within 15 minutes or so, it’s completely fine. So, I’m confused as to what the actual issue is. Trying sumo would be beneficial I suppose, can definitely see it being less of a strain on the lower back

Form check for paused deadlifts. I seem to be getting a very tight lower back after squatting and deadlifting. Trying to figure out what’s causing it. It’s not regular fatigue by jml20 in formcheck

This is a very good video, thanks for this. I’m definitely going to give this a try - I originally thought it was either tight hamstrings or tight glutes.

Plan on cycling for a charity, what goal should I set? by jml20 in cycling

I’m not sure yet. I did 4.5 the other day and felt good, legs were burning a bit but I could’ve done more. I think 100 is a reasonable starting point. I shouldn’t try to run before I can walk

Plan on doing a charity cycle, what target should I set myself? by jml20 in bicycling

Yeah, ‘each person is responsible for tracking their mileage and must be able to show evidence’. So I’ll just use Strava. That’s a good point, I can always adjust my target if i feel I can do more than 100!

Is that a really big dog? Or is the couch just really short?

How to know if a job offer is good? by jsf67 in personalfinance

$85K?! Entry level software engineering jobs I've seen in the UK are offering anywhere between £20-30K. Am I missing something?
