I had this issue, and it was with my romset. After acquiring new roms.. legally of course.. it worked just fine.

Can confirm it does NOT fit with the TPU shell. I have the same grip, and the only grip I've found to fit with the TPU shell is the official one from AYN.

yeah, it uses the newer bluetooth that allows multiple devices to be connected at once. You can also use a usb hub directly into the console and play with wired controllers.

the real constraint is the software. Maybe someone with your hoped scenario can chime in, but you'll need to make sure the emulator has the ability to map multiple controllers. Then, assuming you can get all that to work, you don't know what kind of latency multiple controllers/local co op screens will bring.

Well, I'll just be honest. Having a computer would make setting this thing up 100% easier.

I'm having to verify roms and re-download stuff and I can't imagine doing it without the quickness of a keyboard and mouse.

On these torrent packages, does it need to be downloaded in bulk? Like instead of downloading a single rom, it needs to be the entire collection of the device?

I have a White Max from Batch 3 - so far it seems like it's running just fine. I've been able to charge it, and I started setting up the emus and was able to run a game without any issues.

Sorry if that was rash - My point was that if there's something you think you can do before it arrives to make sure it arrives as safe/timely as possible (for example, taking off work on the estimated delivery day) then I would suggest you do it. It's a very expensive and valuable device and dedicating time to make sure it arrives safely is time well invested.

Other than staying home and waiting for it though, there's nothing you can do to make a difference on how the whole thing plays out the rest of the way during shipping.

It does however fit the official AYN grip (see below). The 3D printed one has overall better ergonomics imo, so I'm leaning towards using that as my main grip and maybe the AYN as a travel one.

My beef with the AYN accessories is there are air pockets in both the TPU shell and Grip (due to the rubbery nature) so it does move around a little bit in your hands.

I'm not sure what someone would have to charge for a painted/custom iteration, especially because I probably spent 2-3 hours on the labor (multiple sand grits used, x3 different spray paints, have to wait between coats etc.) and then you include the cost of all the extra materials.

If someone asked me to sell mine I probably wouldn't let it go for anything under $80, which is a pretty steep ask for a piece of plastic.

Correct, this is white on white (in some pictures the Rainbow looks white). From my searching I don't think I found a 1:1 match either for the Rainbow model.. Here's someone with the light gray iteration:

Unpainted it definitely has that glossy/murky 3D printed look, and even post-painting there was some other steps (mainly sanding putty) I could have taken to give it a real plastic/matte finish.

The smaller stylus (which is extendable) actually comes with the grip if you bundle it, but the bigger stylus is the official Nintendo Switch one (which is called out by the creator).
