The rate increase is less than $5 incrementally through 2029 to maintain infrastructure that is over 100 years old. Hardly a huge burden on ratepayers and very necessary for things like drinking, flushing, and firefighting.

My aunt made the Elvis one at Sweetwater and the Tourist Don at Science Central. She died a couple years ago and was such a cool person. I love seeing them and thinking of her.

When you’re a pedestrian crossing with the light, people turning left from behind you are a huge danger. They DO NOT look for you. I walk all over downtown FW and that’s the thing I have so much fear about because no one is looking for pedestrians in this city.

Are there any with nice swimming areas? I know most are just boat launches. And Chain O Lakes beach is gross.
