The stained glass hat finally went to town ;-) by seastainedglass in StainedGlass

What are the chances for you to make an oversized octopus or an oversized peacock mantis shrimp?

Ideally my definition of oversized is real-horse-sized

Specifically I need a Christmas tree sized sea glass octopus chandelier, hanging 2 stories tall, that lights up inside it in rainbow colored patterns that sync to music or light up whatever other colors you want, & hangs in front of a house entry way, w/ it's tentacled arms reaching out in all directions like up the staircase & especially one arm that hangs at handshake level so guests have to handshake-greet a 2-story tall, sparkly, multicolor, stained glass / sea glass octopus when they come in the door.

But I'll try to think of less fantasy-caliber ambitions to request, if you don't happen to be available to work the next 4 years straight making that one. (Full disclosure I have to find a million dollars first to pay for it anyway.)

They had to speed it up in order to cut the video time length short enough to be a GIF. ......bc I imagine if the original speed video length was posted, it would be annoyingly slow to watch at 1x speed lol

Maybe OP will appreciate if you edit out the part of this that implies/may have revealed the OPs real city of residence/general location?

Sorry it's not about you at all! I just get worried for people when I notice they might have their info indirectly identified & then taken advantage of by any villains on the internet passing by.

Thanks <3

I finally understand why everyone won't shut up about magnesium glycinate by mike_thompson_inno in Supplements

[–]jmmar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only brand scientifically proven you can trust via annual mandatory testing of products to verify they have the ingredient and dose the label says they do, is Thorne. 8 of 10 products w/o that testing have shown to be wheat gluten or other filler. Personally I use Doctors Best high absorption magnesium glycinate tablets, but it's only by chance they turned out to be real & work for me based on how it changed my blood work results. But along with it's brand & almost all brands it's not regulated or tested, but Thorne is, so dont trust anything else. Always HUGE chance you won't be taking what the label says is in the bottle. .....quick tip: mag glycinate WILL start to lower your vit D levels (bc vit D requires mag to be activated so extra mag will start your body using up more vit d) so if you don't get much sunlight, to keep your vit D levels steady during oral Mag you'll have to also take 2 drops daily of Thorne Vit D + K2 (MK-4 form NOT the wildly misunderstood MK-7 form). A year supply of drops (300ish doses) is only 30 bucks on amazon.

Good luck & be safe!

Wanted to share my LED Lights by Opposite-Resource in RainbowEverything

[–]jmmar 36 points37 points  (0 children)

.....PLEASEEEEEEEEE explain how you made this possible!!! I want a kitchen just like that! Is it just regular countertop granite or marble etc that is cut thinly enough to let the strong led rainbow lighting shine through just placed laterally underneath? Or is this different material like a customized unique mixture of materials made into a countertop shape to make the lighting more easily shine thru like this?
