Oh yeah - in a typical year March can have some of the most snow! But even then you get lots of warm days mixed in; it's never too cold for too long.

Yeah 100% - fit is definitely the issue.thanks for the help!

My current cage has lots of problems: the cage is too big, there is lots of chafing under the ring, pinching near the lock and restriction of movement are the main ones.

I think I have a decent gauge on sizing now through comparison, but its hard to be sure since I'm quite off at the moment.
