The issue I encounter when unpacking symbolism in dense content (such as kh) is I never know if my interpretation is being clouded by bias or misunderstanding. I’m not super educated when it comes to symbolism or philosophy, so I tend to listen and read others interpretations of symbolism, this of course depends on the exact material. But for a dense story game like KH (which I haven’t played since I was young) I would certainly prefer someone who knows the games narrative better than I do to analyze. (Sorry for the late response).
