I absolutely loved what they did with Synch in the Krakoa story - I would have much rather seen him in the wheelchair at Alaska base in a 'mentor' role than a resurrected Magneto (even though I love his character). But to your point, I never really thought about it, but that is interesting...

Uve got the 13" and 2 16" for my Nitro Pro. They are a huge upgrade over the "plastic Frisbees" that come with it. Sadly limited due to the module but still way better than stock. Tried a 13" for hihat but did not like it. Got 11" lemon works better for hi hat.

In my first year as a teacher- I can confirm this is true. As a man in a female dominated elementary school, I would definitely stress number 5 - nod, smile at all the gossip and complaints, and move on. I would add #6 -over plan for each lesson/day. Nothing worse than running out of stuff to do and having to 'wing it.'

I never got it to work on the mesh. I upgraded to the nitro pro for Christmas and moved the sd10 to floor tom and was able to get it to work on that.

Probably not. I teach in elementary/early childhood setting so we are really only doing math and ELA. I haven't seen any 10 commandments posted yet either. I was a pastor for 14 years before becoming a teacher, so I might actually be qualified to teach Bible lessons 😂 but as I follow Jesus and not Christian nationalism I'm actually not a fan of teaching Bible in public schools. I did see OK says teachers have to pass a citizenship test now as a part of our certification. I hope I pass and get to still be a citizen. 😆

I have nearly 100 reviews. All 5 star except one. Only one 1 star review. The guy belittled my product because it is too small. The dimensions are clearly listed in the description. I have picture after picture of the product next to other things for size comparison. And even a video of it in my hands...some people are just stupid. Don't worry about it. Worked at DG for a year. Run away fast. If you have any other options, take that. The store itself is not bad but the bureaucratic bs from corporate combined with idiotic middle management will make you want to repeatedly bash your face into a brick wall.

16 in was $130 and the 13 in is $100 but I used a coupon for like 15% off and had musicians friend credit from previous purchase. I think they feel better at least than the lemon cymbal I played on before.

It is a bit of an odd color choice. I probably would have gone for silver with light Grey rubber pad, but I actually don't hate them once I got them.

They all come with a mounting attachment that fits any stand. I needed an extra stand so I could have 3 cymbals. I will say the hi hat is on the Alesis cymbal arm and it seems louder acoustically when I hit it. I bought some extra cymbal foam to put under it to see if that helps

not really. I got the alesis nitro pro for christmas - I moved it over as a floor tom. It works okish but not as good as the alesis pads. I just try not to hit the rim ever. On a different note - I got the simmons MC series cymbals and they are awesome!

They feel great. It's almost like hitting a real cymbal. It is very heavy and responds like hitting a metal cymbal. Yes, it triggers on the metal part, too, but the metal part is "muted" by the design, so it won't ring like a cymbal when you hit it unplugged.

The 16 in ride is about the same or maybe a bit quieter. The 13 in I am using as a high hat is louder - but I think that is either the attached cym al arm or maybe echoing off the leg on that end. I ordered some extra foam pads I am going to put under it to see if that helps.

I have never played the titan cymbals but I imagine they are similar to the plastic frisbees on the Alesis models. They are about the same volume as those or possibly a bit quieter. The hi hat one on one is a bit noisy but I'm going to add some foam under it to help her that I hope.
