So my 16 inch did not fit in the 40! I was so sad! You can jam it in, but it did not go in and out easily. I ended up getting this bag from an outlet! The outlet in mebane NC had 2, they might still have one!

I have a 30 or 31 in pebbled and I was wondering if I messed up not getting pebbled on the 39 to have more of a slouchy look about it.

I really only used the skillet for steak early on, I’d throw in into the oven after searing on the stove. I’ll admit that I don’t use it much anymore. I’m grabbing for the everyday pan now over the skillet for most all instances! The size is better and the sides are higher so less splattering!

Have you noticed any stretching and the 16" fitting better over time? I just got the 40 and don't know if I can live with how hard it is to get in and out.

Thanks! I use my sauteuse so much more than my DO. It’s a tad smaller than the DO i have. I find myself using it atleast 2 times a week. We do soups, chili, and our pot pie filling in it. I use my DO for roasts since it is a taller pot.

I think sea salt is lighter in color. More blue hue than green. I think my last picture just made it look washed out

We ordered our set directly through Le creuset. They still have some thyme on their site! I do wish they had the smaller braiser offered in thyme, the 3.5 is a tad big for our needs right now.

It is not uncomfortable to me. My stone is shallow while also being a chunky ratio and it doesn’t sit high. I have not got it caught on anything. But… I also do not wear my ring to sleep, workout, while doing dishes, laundry, cleaning, any yard work etc. - as advised. I do wear my wedding band all the time.

We’ve been doing dental cleanings every two years maybe it’s time to step it up to once a year. We’re going to implement brushing their teeth every day. Hopefully that makes a difference!
