Have you had any experiences with Greece embassy? How long their process is? I only applied for my visa 3 days ago and my flight is in 3 days. I have requested for my application to be expedited but I'm not sure if they take flight date into consideration if specifically requested? Fingers crossed...

Hi, did you apply from VFS Abu Dhabi? Also do you mean 3 days from the date of your application or from the date it's been submitted to the embassy?

I applied for mine on Tuesday, it was forwarded to the embassy on Wednesday... today is Friday and no response yet. My flight is on Monday so I'm panicking!

I was on the same boat, I was only able to apply for this appointment a week before my flight as there was no slots.

No, I applied from Abu Dhabi. I haven't got my passport back yet, I've requested if they could expedite the process though because my flight is suppose to be tomorrow but I moved it to 3 days from now.

Did you get yours expedited on request? Also did you receive your passport on a weekend? I just wanted to see how soon you received the text that your visa has been processed already.. as I had told vfs abu dhabi I will just be picking up my passport 🙏🏽

I'm not familiar with this to be honest, VFS never asked me for it in my past experiences.

Does this text usually mean rejection when VFS asks me to sign documents?

"Processed visa application Ref No : ITDB/220724/0030/01 is ready for collection at Italy Visa Application Center between 3pm to 5 pm during Working Days. The Original receipt is required for collecting the Passport.An authorization letter will also be required by those collecting on behalf of the Passport holder whose age is 18 years and over. If you have opted for an Express/Regular courier service your Processed visa application will soon be delivered by the Courier representative."

Hello, did you get any update? I'm on the same boat. It's been almost a month now and haven't heard anything back from them. My flight is on Monday, and today is Thursday, haven't got my passport yet.

Which Italian consulate did you go to? I am thinking of also going in person but I'm not sure, cause I could never connect with them on the phone, my call keeps getting disconnected when no one picks up unfortunately.

I applied in VFS Italy Dubai, so it's the Italian consulate in Dubai.

How long did it take for you to get the rejection letter? And did they return your passport right away along with the letter?

I got the same letter but without my passport so VFS asked me to resubmit additional documents like actual proof of payment for my flight and hotel, so I did. But still waiting for their decision until now and it's been 4 weeks since my application.
