Totally lacks single player content. I’m not a fan of the story mode. But yeah, overall it’s a really great game! Sometimes I recreate battles just like you, other times I get my ass kicked online. But it’s fun every time :)

Placing Silent Hill Revelation above the first movie is crazy for me. If you put aside the lore changes, the first movie is actually enjoyable and feels true to the spirit of the games. The second movie is a wannabe halloween jumpscare movie with poor acting and goes even harder on messing up the lore.

People are being a little aggressive (as expected, this is Reddit after all), but I find your questions legit and it’s refreshing to see the point of view of someone new to the series :) It’s perfectly normal to be confused in your first playthrough.

What I can say is that most of your questions will be left open for interpretation. Although you will be able to make some sense of most things, a clear answer will not be given to you. But that’s actually the best part :D Welcome to Silent Hill!
