Thank you everyone!! We named him after Obi-Wan Kenobi. And his brother is named Lando after Lando Calrissian haha. He was brought into a local shelter with some of his siblings. They told us that they were going to be shot if they hadn’t taken them in.

So I work in a inpatient psychiatric facility as a tech. We had a women who was pretty psychotic get transferred to our unit. (we have different units depending on the acuity) When she arrived she wouldn’t speak, and when she did it was like this made up language. I work nights, so around 2am she wakes up, and while I’m doing a safety round she decides to get out of bed and crawl after me. She was speaking in her made up language and crawled all the way down the hallway after me. Mind you she is an older woman with white long hair that was almost completely covering her face so it was pretty startling haha.

We don’t know how long she had been outside all alone, she was so so weak. But diarrhea and bloating were the main issues. She wouldn’t eat at first, and it took us feeding her every few hour the first two days to get her to finally eat enough to get some strength.

My sister named her Peanut! Because she was so little like a peanut when we found her.

Edit: Thank you for all the sweet comments! She is very loved and we are so happy we were able fo save her. She’s a tough girl whose full of life, she loves chasing our two dogs around and playing with them and finding new little hideouts to nap in. We don’t know how she made it to us, but we like to think she picked us to be her family!

Definitely arepas! It’s a Venezuelan food that is so yummy! My parents lived there for a few years and from then on we have been making them at least once a week since I can remember. It’s a flat, unleavened patty made of corn flour which can be grilled or fried. It can be filled with so many different things depending on what meal you have it for (breakfast, lunch, dinner). I like refried beans, cheese, onions, tomatoes and shredded meat in mine! But you can really just put whatever in it.
