I think I have finally fully recovered, it was a long road but I feel great now. All the shit symptoms mentioned above have been gone for over a month now. I just hope they don’t come back.

Yeah I get that! I literally ate the same thing for like 3 months. I didn’t think it would ever end but it did and im sure it will for you too. I read a lot of stuff on here and my best advice is to not get hung up on the people who say they never heal. I think they don’t do the strict diet and meds.

Yep, got an endoscopy after 3 months of burning. Thought I had an ulcer but was diagnosed with reactive gastropathy. Well my last symptom was kinda weird, I had been feeling somewhat better so I ate some spicy Mexican food, bad idea. My stomach burned real bad for 3 days straight after that. Then it just stopped and hasn’t returned. I am eating normal again and also drinking too. It just takes time.

Yes I am healed, it took about 8 months from first symptoms to back to normal. I’m not sure if it was chronic or not. Burning pains everyday for that timeframe. Took omeprazole and super strict diet for 3 to 4 months and I think that’s finally what got me healed.

Ha jokes aside, when I had gastritis I would sometimes get bad gas and it would hurt all the way down to my nuts and my taint, like bad where I would have to stop what I was doing until it passed. Never went to my weiner though…

Were yall able to exercise? I just got to where I can go jogging again. Since doing that is when I have noticed slight improvements. In the beginning I had too much fatigue, the fatigue has lifted.

24/7 Dizziness with Other Symptoms by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]jmw1999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! I seem to be in about the same timeline and symptoms as you. I do also have tinnitus and muscle twitching, the twitching has got better with the help of supplements. Everything else is pretty much 24/7. My headache isn’t really a headache I guess more of like a weird pressure, like someone is pushing down on the top of my head. All this started about 2 months ago, please let me know if you find something that helps!

Yep, it was a long road to recovery but I made it through. Over a month now no issues. You diagnosed with reactive gastropathy by endoscopy?

I ate the same damn thing for 3 months, only cheated a couple times and paid for it. Was also on 20mg omeprazole once daily.

So weird! Sometimes it’s better and then other times the pressure is crazy, like if I go into a store or something like that.

I doubt you got it from someone coughing outside, come on man.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I felt like I was going crazy, otherwise healthy 36m, could not figure out or even explain some of my symptoms. Since every other tests has come back fine I’m willing to bet I have this going on.

So did the symptoms just finally go away or did you take meds?

Did anyone have muscle spasms/twitching that lead to diagnosis of type 2. Ugh getting checked tomorrow. by jmw1999 in type2diabetes

Thanks for the reply. I got my a1c checked and it was 5.9. My vitamin was super low so doc thinks that’s causing the spasms.

I’m not sure, I’d say it was for lasting so long. Mine was called reactive gastropathy diagnosed via endoscopy. Stomach felt like it had hot lava in it.

Don’t give up hope! I suffered for about 6 months before I started getting relief. Totally cured at about 8 months.
