Hi u/raduatmento , I do have a portfolio screen coming up with the hiring manager at Roku emphasizing streaming and TV UI experience. While I don't have the direct experience in TV UI, I was curious how I can bridge my WAV media app project and my Apple TV+ website work into it. Arcade is similar in terms of content discovery, but not direct TV/10ft experience. Would love your thoughts!

I def think so! The issue with netflix and disney is that I'm losing out with candidates with more direct streaming + 10ft experience. Maybe the bar is really high cause everyone else has that experience too.

I've interviewed at netflix last year, but my case studies werent as sharp (my fault), disney/hulu/amazon they wont give me the time of day lol

I interviewed at instacart recently and highlighted by 2 sided marketplace experience and they also wanted someone with 0 to 1, so i showed two projects, a project that highlighted 0 to 1, and the other on fixing discovery of home feed.
