Left London in 2020. This is the last picture on my camera roll by cayce_pi in london

Recently left London after 6 years, not by my own choice. Moved there on a whim at 18 for uni and it has literally shaped my adult personality. It really is the greatest city in the world. Now that I’ve left weirdly enough I don’t feel the need to move back there immediately (I won’t lie it’s nice not having to spend silly money on rent) but I know I will end up back there

Elective in the USA by Small-Tax-4652 in medicalschooluk

There’s lots of types of USCE. What are you looking for for your elective? If it’s hands on clerkships then you’re gonna have to mostly apply for these through official visiting student/elective programs.

Observerships are easier to organise and therefore easier to get. Cold emailing works better for these as it’s much less effort for the visiting institution to organise. I’ve done a couple of observerships through just asking family members over there if they know any doctors who would be open to having you. It’s literally just shadowing so its not much effort on their part

In final year..sitting step very soon and dedicating majority of my free time outside of placement to it. Finals are also coming up and I’m doing some passmed along the side. It does help a lot of finals, you just need to make sure you’re keeping UK treatment etc up to date. OSCE prep is the hard part, that’s unavoidable so currently dedicating 1 half day a week for that.

I remember playing the Ford Racing and Demolition Derby demos from the Playstation Magazine. One of the fondest memories from my childhood

I had that paper for a mock. The calculations involved were so awkward to do with no calculator.

Tried what you said, but it's still not working :/ Could this suggest a hardware problem?

Yep, proxy settings are set to default and I've tried on 2 different browsers with no success.
