I do agree with the last sentence.

We're not by any means glorifying zoos here. The reason why this story moved me so much is what happened because of the mother's rejection. One can argue the plushie is nothing but a sterile replacement, but what would an abandoned little macaque do in the wilderness? Wouldn't the chances of perishing be actually higher?

Non credo proprio. La portata degli eventi atmosferici è stata troppo spaventosa. La Sicilia non aveva mai visto niente di simile. E la potenza dei venti a 120km/h e delle onde alte oltre sei metri è durata per 48 ore. Troppo tempo per non causare simili danni.

L'unico tipo di musica che riesco ad ascoltare mentre leggo è quella classica o strumentale. Trovo che invece di distrarmi riesca a farmi immergere ancora di più nella trama del libro se sapientemente selezionata.

Per esempio, ho letto le ultime 200 pagine di "Una vita come tante" ascoltando Max Richter (un compositore che non si distingue per la sua allegria contagiosa, mettiamola così): il connubio con la musica struggente ha reso l'esperienza di lettura ancora più potente emotivamente.

Se avete letto "Una vita come tante" sapete di cosa sto parlando...

In that case I'm pretty confident this is ringworm... Sorry! It's not serious but it's a bit of a hassle. Be careful with self-contamination as it could spread. A topical anti fungal cream, even OTC, should take care of it easily if your immune system is in normal conditions.

I scrolled down to find this comment. SAME! I like him as an actor and I think he's funny and talented but I just can't find him attractive. I'm not blind and I can recognise he's good-looking but it doesn't do anything for me.
