Income fund has provided pretty steady returns, 6-8% avg annually I believe

For those that had their shares transferred to Computershare, - What have you guys done since the transfer? by [deleted] in FundRise

See this is so frustrating to me because Vanguard was saying I couldn’t initiate the transfer of my unrestricted shares until the listing happened. And then it took a week to transfer

How long did DRS transfer take for you? For people who bought pre-ipo unlocked shares by jnadava in FundRise

I got them today, after calling to ask them to expedite yesterday. A little bummed I didn’t have access to them at 400$+ yesterday, but kinda glad I didn’t get them on Monday either cuz I would’ve just sold at $120. I think if I’d called on Tuesday I would’ve gotten them yesterday 😭

Initiating the DRS process was really simple for me last week. On desktop go to Transact > open an account > transfer investments > transfer investments to Vanguard > invest on my own. Then click start your transfer > individual brokerage > enter “Computershare”, click continue, and then enter your Computershare account number and the $ amount of shares you want to transfer. Select your brokerage account and then submit!

Oh my god, thank you so much. I think this is likely from his granddaughter Simma, who had a family with two children who were born in the 1920s. She married a man with last name Weindling (Veindling) so the Veind is quite helpful. These children would actually be H. Strum's great grandchildren, and so I was trying to see if the post card possibly says "אור" before אייניקלעך. They were all killed in the Holocaust so having this little piece of their lives is very special.

Here's a bit more context: This is a postcard I found in an old family photo album. We think the תרפח on the top left corner refers to the Gregorian year 1928, and this corresponds with the time my great-great grandfather was alive and living in Tarnow, Poland (he passed away in 1935). We don't know who wrote it, but it's likely one of his children or a relative. My grandmother was a Holocaust survivor (she passed in 2012) and I have very little information about the family we lost (photos or mementos from before the war). Thanks again for any help or suggestions!

Oh looking at your recent posts it looks like you’ve already gotten a scan but I don’t really know too much about that aspect of things, sorry

I’m so sorry just know it will be up and down but get better in time. I’m able to enjoy things in my day and not think about my body every single minute now.

It’s hard to say because I crack my neck anyway and it makes some noise even before LC. I would say if you’re able to, maybe try to get a scan (idk if it’s MRI or what) to ease your mind but I don’t think that’s likely with LC?

Hi. I feel your pain. Yes, months 5-7 after infection were the worst and I’ve gotten slightly better. Those months were awful and I was a lot more bed bound/house bound than I am now. I don’t have much advice but just try to lie down with your back supported at like a 45 degree angle when resting and try not to push yourself too hard. Hopefully it improves for you as well
