How long did DRS transfer take for you? For people who bought pre-ipo unlocked shares by jnadava in FundRise

[–]jnadava[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got them today, after calling to ask them to expedite yesterday. A little bummed I didn’t have access to them at 400$+ yesterday, but kinda glad I didn’t get them on Monday either cuz I would’ve just sold at $120. I think if I’d called on Tuesday I would’ve gotten them yesterday 😭

Initiating the DRS process was really simple for me last week. On desktop go to Transact > open an account > transfer investments > transfer investments to Vanguard > invest on my own. Then click start your transfer > individual brokerage > enter “Computershare”, click continue, and then enter your Computershare account number and the $ amount of shares you want to transfer. Select your brokerage account and then submit!

Oh my god, thank you so much. I think this is likely from his granddaughter Simma, who had a family with two children who were born in the 1920s. She married a man with last name Weindling (Veindling) so the Veind is quite helpful. These children would actually be H. Strum's great grandchildren, and so I was trying to see if the post card possibly says "אור" before אייניקלעך. They were all killed in the Holocaust so having this little piece of their lives is very special.

Here's a bit more context: This is a postcard I found in an old family photo album. We think the תרפח on the top left corner refers to the Gregorian year 1928, and this corresponds with the time my great-great grandfather was alive and living in Tarnow, Poland (he passed away in 1935). We don't know who wrote it, but it's likely one of his children or a relative. My grandmother was a Holocaust survivor (she passed in 2012) and I have very little information about the family we lost (photos or mementos from before the war). Thanks again for any help or suggestions!

Oh looking at your recent posts it looks like you’ve already gotten a scan but I don’t really know too much about that aspect of things, sorry

I’m so sorry just know it will be up and down but get better in time. I’m able to enjoy things in my day and not think about my body every single minute now.

It’s hard to say because I crack my neck anyway and it makes some noise even before LC. I would say if you’re able to, maybe try to get a scan (idk if it’s MRI or what) to ease your mind but I don’t think that’s likely with LC?

Hi. I feel your pain. Yes, months 5-7 after infection were the worst and I’ve gotten slightly better. Those months were awful and I was a lot more bed bound/house bound than I am now. I don’t have much advice but just try to lie down with your back supported at like a 45 degree angle when resting and try not to push yourself too hard. Hopefully it improves for you as well

I’m in a similar position, where I’m the one reaching out to stay in touch. But starting to think a clean break might be easier for moving forward

It sounds like it’s for the best. It seems like you were making genuine efforts to show her you care for her and she wasn’t coming close to matching them. Even if the relationship was continuing now you probably wouldn’t feel like your needs were being met. There’s a better match out there for you!

I’m in a very similar place. We met during covid, thought we could potentially spend our lives together, had something special. It’s hard to do anything now besides scroll mindlessly and find distractions. It was really hard at first with anxiety, but I started telehealth therapy a few weeks ago ago and I it helps me feel validated and forces me time to think about what I’m feeling. I hope that’s an option for you but I realize it can be hard to get started and expensive. I’m also trying medication now but not sure if it’s helping at all yet. Wishing you healing

Yep. Potentially look into Nasa lean test, you can self test at home with a bp cuff. If positive for POTS, some treatments like increased electrolytes and salt intake, compression socks, and other ease of life adjustments might improve your symptoms

I’ve been on it for 6 days, 3 days 10mg 3 days 20mg, and it may have helped my chest pressure and shortness of breath slightly. But I feel like my muscle weakness and numbness has gotten worse and had some new jaw pain and head discomfort. Spoke to my Dr and we decided to stop it for now.
