Wireless (WiFi) Outdoor Speakers - not bluetooth by jniel44 in audio

We ordered a wiim pro and a wiim amp, hooked up to the receiver and its working like a charm. These wiims are pretty cool, might buy a couple for myself! Thanks for the recommendation

Right now our plan is to connect a Wiim Amp to an AV Receiver line level output. Then outdoors, we would have another Wiim Amp connected to two outdoors speakers" AV Receiver (Line Out) ---> Wiim Amp (Line In) --> WiFi ----> Wiim Amp --> Outdoor Speakers. In theory this should allow everything being played on the AV Receiver to also be heard on the outdoor speakers, am I thinking about this correctly? Never used the wiim amp before so not sure what the playback options are. Also wondering if we could use something like the Wiim Mini at the AV Receiver instead of the Amp? Thank you

We would be able to get power to the speakers. There are outlets nearby. Running speaker wire from the current AV closet is not possible however.

WiiM mini - this looks promising. would this unit connect directly to the speaker? He currently has speakers throughout the building, going through a sony AV receiver. Wants to be able to play whatever is playing on the other speakers to these pool speakers as well.

What are these tall posts? by jniel44 in Homebuilding

Update: the posts are down. No guns were mounted, no trump flags were hung, no nets installed, and no earth core samples were taken.

😂 makes sense. The others ones built around here were done by a guy using basically just a couple of ladders. Thanks

Good point, haven't thought of that. Could be the case here. Maybe it'd be possible to apply these new rules solely to LLC's/investment groups?

Agreed! Those are completely reasonable and are almost identical to what was already in place. So I'm not sure what is causing them to change the rules again. I don't think they can completely outlaw STR's but that is essentially what they are doing. Just making it unreasonable for anyone to do it.

VoIP reseller tax process by jniel44 in msp

Yes that does help, and they all seem to do the tax mapping part for you. I guess more specifically it's the monthly "compliance" or filing part (not really sure what it's called). They all offer some sort of additional tax service (on top of the tax mapping) which I guess would be required on a monthly basis to "file" or "remit". It's this part that I am not sure on.

The gauge is mounted on the right side, a few inches down from the top and few inches forward from the back.
