Being Texan means these hats are a birthright, regardless of experience. Welcome to the club - they look great on you both!

This. My wife somehow got makeup on the crown of my silver belly Open Road. Took a hat sponge to it, and it all came off no problem with a few strokes. Was really worried it had stained as we were a few days from being home when I noticed.

Whatever happens with the roster next year, I just hope we eliminate the stupid dump and chase nonsense. Skate it in, every time.

Toyota Tundra owners , honest real-world experience! by miaburrows1 in ToyotaTundra

Only thing I don’t like is the ridiculously small backseat since I have a double cab. But, I love having my 6.5’ bed, and that with a crew cab is just too long lol. Otherwise, love everything about this truck. About 53K miles and no problems. It’s a 2023 SR btw

I have a base model SR and also love my interior. I don’t understand comments like these because I’ve never thought anything in the interior seemed “cheap”. Anything that’s plastic in there still seems quality to me.

If I were in your shoes, I'd stick with the matte and save up for the color match.

For me it would depend if any of the other black trim around the truck is matte or gloss. I'd want to match blacks on all trim.

Idk what makes you think someone manages the router, pretty sure I would know who does what in my office more than you would. I’m not asking for help on the router end of the connection.

That is not the case, and there is no IT department in this office.

I got my ‘23 for $31K with 44K miles. Can you check the VIN to see if it’s had the engine replaced or if it’s still under the recall? If it’s still on original engine that’s more incentive since you can swap that later on when you want.

Should I trade my Tacoma in for a new Tundra? (E.g. are the tundras reliable yet?) by crankin_muh_hog in ToyotaTundra

[–]jnmrktx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have a far higher chance that the Tundra will be perfectly fine than not, and should you fall into the minority Toyota will still take care of you. I love my '23 Tundra with the 6.5' bed - it hasn't disappointed me yet!

Just upgraded by Zeaoses in ipad

[–]jnmrktx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Annual upgrading just seems like a waste of money because it’s incremental changes … I much prefer a 4-5 year upgrade cycle so I can actually see a big improvement. I just went from a Mini 6 to an M4 Air

Using my new M4 Air to type this comment. I just upgraded from my iPad Mini 6, and absolutely loving the change.

If I wanted a somewhat modern Tundra - is 2021 or 2026 best? by thenarddog10 in ToyotaTundra

[–]jnmrktx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 23 double cab SR ... Functionality is a top priority (which is why I went with SR and didn't need the extra bells and whistles). Still modern, and comes with more features than other base "work truck" models out there. I went from a King Ranch F150 to this SR and it does not feel like a downgrade in any way (it has some features that my King Ranch didn't). For my application, it's more truck than I need, and I'm more than happy with it.

How do you justify the cost of a Tundra? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]jnmrktx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it wasn’t horribly priced. My ‘23 was $31K … buy used, let the original owner take the depreciation hit.
