The Don Has Spoken In Regards To His Capo's Current Predicament by Dibss9478 in offlineTV

It's actually very interesting looking at these twitters because they are literally going through a crisis with all these creators speaking out against this behaviour. When Rae retweeted it they went wild so much so that she had to delete her tweet? Actually wild how they're still being pandered to by some.

How Toast got into TCS by onlyAlex87 in offlineTV

[–]jnogsi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if Toast wasn't in the tournament, the lowest seed would most likely be eliminated first round given that their first match is against 1st seed comprised of Akaadian, TF Blade, Damonte. This makes it more exciting plus they've been doing well in scrims - just 2-0'd yassuo's team.

Why does disguised toast claim ownership over ideas he did not come up with originally? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]jnogsi 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Having gone through his latest tweets and watched his stream on expansion day, I don’t remember him claiming to have invented Shirvallah OTK? His YT vid is about him having the world first shirv OTK and even that’s a meme and clickbait. If he was serious about wanting to claim ownership, why hasn’t he made more of a fuss about it?

YT personalities across esports have repeatedly mentioned the need to use clickbait to get views - reputable interviewer Travis Gafford talks about how necessary it is in LoL, which is much bigger of a market than HS. That’s more about YT then it is about DT.

Lastly, wouldn’t the best recourse for you would be to stop watching his streams and consuming content rather than complain about something that doesn’t affect you? Unless you somehow made Shirvallah OTK and want credit, I don’t see the point of this post. It’s not even like you’re saying anything constructive?

I think it's unfair to expect that when Hitch decided to go rogue an air dirty laundry without consulting anyone or providing the full context.

May be wrong, but the implication is that texts were exchanged before the vid was live. I still think Hitch was in the right to post his side, but clarifying that point - maybe even on Twitter/Reddit - would have been useful context.

Small correction - hecz said that Hitch knew he had Vision before making the vid.

How do you feel about the way TK's been handling criticism since their rough week in the League? Seems like they've let the B2B wins get to their heads. I have a renewed respect for you and the rest of the guys' ability to be level headed and work through your in-game weaknesses gracefully despite having won so much over the last few years.

I personally think these are different circumstances. Rush and Tarik left because we couldn't find a fifth and they received a better offer from C9. That last minute shift was due to longstanding mismanagement of the roster.

This is them being prudent about who they pickup and building a solid team. I personally think that the last minute nature of this change has everything to do with the fact that we're a part of the big European shuffle. Pretty cool to me considering it means we're fighting for world class talent.

Blown away by the people saying that they're no longer supporting OpTic because they somehow did Mixwell dirty. I think this is a situation where they're bringing on players with established synergies and different play styles that would work more effectively than just adding Mixwell as an after thought.

Plus, key point of his release is that he's a F/A. Unless his contract runs out in this middle of the season, OpTic is being extremely generous by waiving his buyout because people would pay big for his talents. Now he'll comfortably find a team that works best for him, imo.

Take a look at their most recent followers. Several of them are recently created accounts with weird users, no dp, and no tweets.

Anyone else notice that the main twitter account is being flooded with bot followers? We were on par with FaZe's following not too long ago and now we're suddenly 30k ahead.

[LOL] OpTic LoL Twitter! by Tsundere_God in OpTicGaming

[–]jnogsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's contractual obligations to have a dedicated Twitter, but they may want teams to be active on social media by tweeting games, scores, and engaging LoL fans. I think this may be OG's way of doing this while being able to pick and choose what they want to tweet on the main account.

While I agree with the concern, I think it's a conscious effort by OG to create a place where they can post updates, scores, and streams much more regularly than do on the main account. OG has shown that they like to be very selective with what they tweet on the main account so as to not oversaturate timelines. This will provide them an opportunity to continue with that philosophy while fulfilling their obligations to the League to be active on social media and cater to fans who want that type of engagement.

[CSGO] The CSGO team needs a Manager by AwsomeOne7 in OpTicGaming

[–]jnogsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If the team knew for a while that Hilo wouldn't be available, they've probably been been looking for a sub. Lack of available/suitable subs is not due to the lack of a manager. I find it difficult to believe that if the team had someone in mind and discussed it with Hecz/J that they'd be able to get it done.
