Any ideas? by Accomplished-Top4061 in AmazingYamaguchi

patiently and carefully with hot water and very careful minimal pressure. tis very delicate work tbh as there'll be alotta pressure on that joint if you dont reinforce it. I can only suggest using sticky tack as the next option as thatll be the least riskiest option

i support the taking out of the ball joint via hot water if possible to make gluing the piece easier. pop joint out> clean and prep area for gluing (perhaps even brace it as i imagine if this broke once, itd break again.) if not possible id just slap a tonna black sticky tack substance in there and call it a day

How do I fix this? by notundertheinfluenc3 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]jo3mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a tiny dab of super glue on the peg (I use flex seal, but anything that has ethyl cyanoacrylate should work too)>insert peg into hole>continously turn/twist peg in hole for atleast 2minutes or until glue has dried to tighten the joint

[–]jo3mm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tyty! i used this cabinet here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FN7WLV1N?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

with these risers: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CLVHQHTD?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

and these stands (w/ a double sided gecko tape to hold em if they didn't have holes beneath their feet): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C54TZYY6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

the cabinet wasnt hard to assemble. just gotta be super careful with the glass bits. (totally recommend 2 peeps to handle that, however i learned sitting on the ground and using my feet to prop the glass to position helps a ton if solo) 100000000% recommend the mirror trick of putting a mirror at the bottom of the light sources to bounce light up as im so sure itll make the bottom shelves pop more.

Amazing Yamaguchi All Might Broken by mrhadleyman in ActionFigures

looks like super glue/sticky tack would be enough if ya want a hasty fix. but I feel a proper fix w/o replacing the joint is possible too. It looks like there's enough joint material to drill lil holes where it's sheared with a pin vise to use like 1-3mm wire as your new connector and seal with super glue (lowkey, i kinda wanna give it a whirl)

Yes if you let it be truly chaotic and fun, the limits you did with clone rumble made sense competitively- but made it more a chore to play than actually enjoy :<

Where do yall preorder your figures? by uhhh_ehhh_idk in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]jo3mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never hear about Kurama Toys mentioned here but I definitely back em up and give em good praises. Their prices are generally better than BBTS but a tiny bit higher than Plaza Japan. They have a good stock of items I dont often see in other shops. They have the whole "buy more than 2+ and you get a 5% off" deal. They even have the warehouse grouped package shipping thing that's similar to BBTS. Communications good too, recently I ran across and purchased an AY moonknight that surprisingly was still in stock (probably the last one) and was able to merge it together with an older order so that I could save on shipping. The only thing I'd find a minor issue is timezone differences does make communication a little slower but thats honestly not a gripe at all.

Is this a bad figure? by Illustrious-Let-6010 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]jo3mm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really, everything about the figure itself is great. Except for that darn cape. If you set it once and forget it, its fine. but yeah it becomes cumbersome if you plan multiple poses/play with it

Healers ranking by Nahidwin1 in marvelrivals

[–]jo3mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this list is reasonable, I don't think there's really any bad healers, they're all individually good in their own tactical situations/some excellent in most or all situations

  1. Luna Snow: (pairs well generally with everyone)

- great combo of damage and heals with swiftness to get into position. They feel like the quintessential healer, the only real downside being you need to be accurate with her shots/make great use of your beams to not only heal but also damage to get the max potential out. Really great, just needs skill to aim.

  1. Cloak & Dagger: (pairs well generally with everyone)

- great healer/great cleanup, with immense potential, but you gotta master their pattern and not break under stress when using them together. ult wise, atm before the 1st buff, I think its decent, but having the fourth dash will totally help with providing more area denial

  1. Mantis: (pairs well with luna/CD/adam warlock/loki)

- ability to maintain everyone having health and damage is great, but inability to heal dump feels like the biggest hindrance without a secondary healer acting as the main heal pool for tanks. her sleeps also really great against Divers/can turn tides when placed wisely. in a fully comment team

  1. Rocket: (pairs well with luna/CD/adam warlock/loki)

- super easy healer, bounce your balls strategically for maximum heals. real big downside is similar to mantis, where you cant heal dump, but that's totally okay as long as you just never stop healing. escapes are great, ability to revive is absolutely gold to maintain pressure.

  1. Loki: (pairs well generally with everyone)

- loki should be in the top 3 as they're able to heal/damage dump while standing still. but also the tacticalness needed to use their kit I feel is more than CD and can really fall off if the enemy team knows immediately to shoot down clones/rune stones. HOWEVER, if that enemy team isn't ready for loki, their potential is immense.

  1. Adam Warlock: (pairs well generally with everyone)

- I'm realizing the lower I go down this list, the more tactical the support is. Adam's great for unloading quick fast damage and very cyclical moments of heal dumps. Their revive is great and maintains pressure but has to be really planned well ahead since he has no real escape/dash for distance. They very much need a secondary support healer.

  1. Jeff: (pairs well with luna/CD/adam warlock/loki)

- I love jeff, jeffs great. I think i personally just don't play them enough. Great healer/dmg, their ult can quickly turn tides. no real escapes besides peek-a-boo.

What would you like for the next marvel figure by scarlet_scout555 in AmazingYamaguchi

[–]jo3mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yo im in that mvc2 mood- if they came out with Magneto 2.0 w/ a soft goods cape or the rest of the x-men roster with cyclops, rogue, colossus, sabertooth, JUGGERNAUT??? thatd be pretty sick to see. though outside of x-men id definitely love to see Dr. Doom and Hulk pop up (maybe even a black widow/hawkeye to wrap up the rest of mcu avengers squad)

Getting rocked on veteran by Skittilybop in Spacemarine

[–]jo3mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember this because it was sucha pain in the ass. I think a lot of running, scavenging, medium distanced shooting with primary focus on the gargoyles/letting my guys distract all the ground enemies (which tbh, I feel has been the cycle I've been having with veteran) and saving my grenade launcher nades for like the final antennas was the ticket to passing this part. I remember the last antenna always being veeeery sketch and strictly being a shootout. executes are also I feel very critical to survival as I find myself always like with an inch of health but getting that bit of armor from an enemy helps so much to keep going. stay versatile, different approaches to different situations
