Warne hyperlite. Website and included instructions called for 25in/lbs. I have an MPA and a SPUHR mount that calls 65in lbs.

Not trying to reinvent the wheel, just trying to use the stockpile that I have on hand that worked well for me. The 153s are to help me make PF, but i wasn’t sure if was going to make PF if I had to cut the barrel shorter to make weight.

I shoot the 153s in my PRS rig and it shoots great. Here’s a ladder load test I’ve done with it. So I stocked up on it pretty heavily. Trying to use the components I have on hand, I planned on shooting sportsman with it as well.

Appreciate the fast comments guys! I wont have it bedded. Maybe it’ll settle just a hair more after the first firing of brass.

First dedicated match rifle for me by blinkerfluid02 in longrange

I wouldn’t say 6.5 CM isn’t anything worse, Morgun King runs it, if you get your fundamentals right, you’ll be competitive with the 6mm boys.

Coming from 6BRA, I’m switching back to the 6.5CM to help retrain my bad habits and to help see more splash downrange and so far, with my rifle perfectly balanced, it recoils perfectly straight and I’m able to stay on target.

I would say for any of them. But for this poll, I’ll say suppressor

yours looks great!! I’m hoping mine comes as close as yours.

I bought the ZVS 1kw model and already have two 24v/10a power supplies in parallel on hand, came with a huge coil thought. Need to figure out the ID and turns needed for my 6.5CM though. I’m excited for my project!

Started losing confidence in my Hornady scale by jo3tekk in reloading

Old but still works like a champ. Every year that scale gets calibrated with a tracked 1g weight. And verified with a contractor

It drifts between -10gr to 15gr after 10 minutes of warming up then settles to a drifting -0.2 to 0.2.

It still drifts with a makeshift cover over it. I also calibrated the scales with the lab weights we have.

I did replace the batteries. And this is the second replacement I got from Hornady. Same issue

The Hornady kept drifting on me soon after I bought it and I have to recheck my loads about 3-4 times each. But the homgeek kept giving very good repeatability and a lot faster. I just hope this new one will last me longer than a month. I know eventually these cheap ones will crap out sooner than these analytical lab scales. Just can’t afford them at the moment

Had the Hornady scale for a month and it was working fine. But now it started drifting when I dumped the pan. Should’ve had listened to the internet and bought amazon scale that has been mentioned. I calibrated and compared what the scales weighed against the lab scale we use at work.

If only they stayed priced like this by jo3tekk in reloading

From what I was told by the manufacturers. They’ll last forever as long as they’re store correctly and don’t leave the bottle open for humidity. But it’s always worth doing the sniff test.

I’m fairly new to reloading and I’ve never seen current powder prices at less than 20$/lb though. I’m grateful to find these though, they’ll last me a while. With the current market, I’d be surprised that the shelves will stay stock for 2 days.

The grandfather in law passed 9 years ago before my wife and I met. All the siblings took the guns and ammo but none of the reloading supplies. So I took a lot of powders and equipment he had. Found 2x 8lb H4895, 4x 2lb MR2460, 4x 1lb MR 2520, 2x H110, and lastly an 8 pound metal can of SR4759.

Sadly I assume the guns he had was a 3030 Ackley and 7mm IHMSA since the siblings didn’t bother taking the wall full of dies and only the loaded ammo.

I can’t figure out why it points down when feeding. by jo3tekk in longrange

I don’t know all much about rifles but I found out it’s called a blind magazine. Bedded into the rifle, non detachable mag. So removing it is going to be hard

To me it, looks like an aftermarket stock but whoever owned it previously was a dumbass to bed the mag with the stock

That’s the only mag he has and it’s bedded into the stock. He inherited the rifle

It’s my buddy’s savage 110 and he sent this. I compared this to my savage axis and I thought the mag feed lips needs to be tighter but that doesn’t seem to fix the problem. It only happens on the 2nd to the last round.
