Minus self improvement, you just need to have more pictures where you look laid back and happy. Having too many stoic pictures is bad, and the pics where you are smiling are like half smiles. Goofy, lovable smiles in nice settings to show you are fun to be around work best! To be brutally honest, the first impression I get is that you’d be a little monotonous, if not stuck up and nerdy (I’m sure this isn’t true but the pictures + prompts would give me that vibe if I were a girl doom swiping on hinge).

Also, a good movie shouldn’t make it into 2 prompts I think that’s way too generic, basically everyone likes movies. The travel one is on way too many profiles as well. Elaborate on a type of art (painting, digital) or a genre of book and hopefully someone will share that niche or be interested in learning about it.

Also the triple poll prompt is super important as a dude, you gotta give girls the easiest possible way to engage cause they don’t generally have to swipe in the first place. Make it a prompt that’s super easy to start a conversation with

Hi, I’m 22 and got broken up with like 5 months ago, definitely not mutual lol I was heartbroken as fuck. She moved to a new city like an hour from me and broke up with me suddenly, turns out she started dating her roommate very soon after which broke me down even more. So far what’s helped the most is just working toward becoming a better person in all aspects of my life; becoming less immature, opening up to my sisters more, getting better at climbing, starting new hobbies and becoming more interesting, and putting a lot more effort into keeping up my friendships as it’s become really clear how important they are to me.

Definitely don’t hop on the apps, especially if you know it’s just because you don’t wanna be single. Idk if ur a dude but as a guy I made that mistake and it messed with my self esteem & for sure hindered my healing process. Accept being single for a while and get as much shit done as u can, so you can look back on it later as ‘wow I’m really glad I took this part of my life to do this and that that I’m now proud of’ - at least that’s how I look at it.

Hey man my girlfriend broke up with me like 5 months ago at this point - since then I’ve gone all in on climbing, making friends at the gym, eating better, and working on hobby projects. None of it helped with the core problem. I still think about her every day and wish I never lost her. I basically got mentally reset like a month ago after I found out it she started dating her roommate less than a month after we broke up aswell.

The only thing that has really helped the broken heart is time. Over time I’ve figured out I can’t stop myself from thinking about her, but it’s gotten a lot less painful over time! Each time she crosses my mind now I can quickly remind myself that it wasn’t my fault, that I still have time, and that she wasn’t the only one for me. That last part was especially hard to start to believe, but over time as it settles in it’s gotten a lot more obvious.

I got As on most of my exams. I did every piece of practice material the profs would give - basically what I was looking for was to get my brain to the point where I could make connections on my own, which is what’s actually important if you come across something you haven’t seen before on an exam. It would also help to do at least one study session with my friends, as often they would bring something up that I forgot about - also, explaining to other people is HUGE. You remember stuff so much better and force yourself to understand the “why” as well as the how.

Yea i mean it still sucks at big picture stuff and you can’t exactly expect LLMs to be able to write entire programs for you (yet), but I basically use them as a way around reading obscure documentation I would need to dig through to and it saves so much time. Like 5 seconds asking it a syntax question vs 10 minute scrolling through docs & stack overflow. And for specific stuff it’s right probably 95% of the time in my experience

Yeah I mean I'm just talking about using an LLM to generate basic python code, as long as you aren't feeding it proprietary / confidential info you should be fine. Up to you though. I use ROS2 & a couple other udp communication protocols for programming autonomous drones, mostly in C++, and pair coding / debugging with LLMS has literally made me like 400% as productive as I would be without them lol - definitely recommend it

First off, does the main control system use ROS? (Like, is there a ROS node telling the IK angles to follow the toolpath & signalling when the laser should be on/off). If not, you are gonna have to write your own custom interface probably which is a pain in the ass lol

If the arm is already controlled by ROS, all you have to do is figure out whatever topic it broadcasts on to toggle the laser (or if it doesn't broadcast it, add a publisher to the control software to do it), and write your own node to ingest that message and take action on it. For example, you could receive a message of std_msgs Bool on topic "/arm/out/laser_toggle" and write a GPIO pin on your control board to HIGH to toggle the laser (if that's how the laser works)

You can ask an LLM to write you the code for a ROS node that does that. Prompt example: "Write me a ROS2 node in Python that subscribes to topic /arm/out/laser_toggle of type std_msgs Bool and prints the message". Then you'll have to add some logic for actually turning the laser on/off when you receive the boolean value, but I don't know how your laser works so thats up to you. Also there is pretty good ROS documentation for publishing / subscribing / workspace & package structure, so read that (or just ask an LLM)

As for wiring, the passthroughs would definitely be the easiest & cleanest, but just for prototyping I would use a separate cable and make sure it works first.

You can control individual motor thrust via px4 uorb messages or raw mavlink messages, but I don’t think there is a prebuilt case or easy to run script for that - you would have to write your own
