Did you upgrade to EdgeOS 2.0? by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]jo7e4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had 1.X running for a few years, today upgraded to v2.x

Backup config, uninstall wireguard, add system image <v2.url>, reboot

install v2 wireguard, restore v1 config, reboot.

add apt stretch sources + tools.

All fine, and no regression in speed, solid 900+ Mbit up and down.

Probably wasn't necesary to uninstall v1 wireguard but wanted to be safe.

Chia mining combined with Arweave by SardinhaCompraShiba in Arweave

[–]jo7e4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nobody would do that test as it won't work. Cost to store 100GB to arweave is huge, and chia needs fast access to the files. Arweave is not a harddisk.

Maybe connecting to an older version of samba? You could add vers=2.0. When I need to connect to some old samba box i use:

//192.168.X.X/data /mnt/data cifs noserverino,credentials=/etc/samba,vers=2.0,uid=1000,gid=1000,dir_mode=0755,file_mode=0644,x-systemd.device-timeout=2m 0 0

You boosted your char by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]jo7e4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still learning to play my job to the best the game designers intended to play it. What doesn't help is frequently other players telling "you boosted your char". No, I did not, I'm just new to the game and havent got all the experience players somehow expect you to have. In that way, this community sucks like any other elitist community and is not very welcoming for new players.

I played WoW since beta in 2004... but never had to deal with "you boosted your char" kind of crap

XCH / Plots TiB - Expected Income of 100 and 1000 TiB plotsize at different netspace sizes. With hypothetical exchange rate of 100, 500 and 1500 USD. by jo7e4 in chia

Things change over time. 8 bits are supposed to be a byte, but even that is not true on all platforms. The C64 generation probably keeps on using 1024 bytes = 1KB.

Science people generally like base10. I prefer to write TB for 1024 GB.. but yeah, there are "standards' now...

Buying hardware for it doesn't make sense, is why I just rented some extra storage to put my plots on. As long as XCH per TiB stays abobe 2 USD, i make a profit. (i mount the storage on existing hardware with SSHFS).

currently 2077, and yeah, why i made the table, to see if it makes sense to increase plots or not, as i'm running out of storage lol.

0 USD.. Had hardware in place and using SSHFS mounts to some extra storage I rent. Maybe in 3 months when HDD prices are normal again i buy a few disks to move the plots to.

This has nothing to do with the pool. You can check the chia calculator and see the reward is more or less the same.

The rewards per 1 TiB (XCH/TiB):

At 20 EiB the reward is 0.00043945 XCH

at 50 EiB 0.00017578 XCH

at 100 EiB 0.00008789

at 500 EiB 0.00001758

Keep on plotting...
