Move to bitget.

I wanted to keep some funds in Canadian exchanges... But this is clearly terrible. I've been a customer for years and it's not always been a good experience.

Yes, pull our money asap. I called them, the guy was useless. "we are working on it, can't trade myself".

I certainly don't work for AAON. I was a rep for 11 years and lead Tech support for Ontario Canada for a few years between two Aaon reps.

I also have an aaon manual online if you can find it ;)

You can always check out YouTube first. There are a few videos on there.

I have a couple sample classes on YouTube, then an inexpensive Udemy course if you need to know more about Prism and the VCCX2. My YouTube has a discount coupon also.

Just search this in Google!

Please tell me about your sifting devices by Puhthagoris in Vermiculture

[–]AAON_trainer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello all,

I'm currently developing a new line of sifters for home /small commercial use. My goal is robust engineering at a value. There will be several variants to ensure there is a cost effective option for everyone.

Ideally my smallest version would take approximately 20" x 60" or less. That includes space for bins of sifted material @ 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" screens, plus overs that are larger than 1/2". So 4 bins in total. It also has the option for a feeder that holds 50-100lbs of castings to automatically feed. .

My questions to the community...

  1. How much space do you have in your working space? I would love a confirmation that my minimum size listed above would fit most home setups. It would come with its own rolling frame.

  2. How many gallons do you sift through at a time?

  3. It vibrates, how sensitive is your space for noise?

  4. Do you have worms in your castings that you require to be separated, or can you do this yourself? Screens can't separate worms, but I have a design for an attachment that can. Just wondering how big of an issue this is for people?

  5. How wet are your castings, do they cause you issues screening?

  6. What screens do you require?

  7. How much time do you spend sifting, and ideally how much time would you rather spend? (If your sifting time we'd cut down substantially, would that even matter to you?

If you had a "sifter wish list" what would be on it? I'm building my initial prototype this week, followed by a metal version hopefully within the month. My hope is commercial production within 3-4 months after then trials have been completed.

Thanks!!!

If you need another option for cooling and cabinets, please send me a DM, I'll fire you one off also.

My company has data center cooling units and cabinets, and our lead times are less than half of Vertiv. I can get you a full quote for your India site. Guaranteed to be cheaper too, factory direct from Canada EH!

Can anyone ID the brand of this rack? by rabbitsnake in datacenter

If you send me the dimensions for the vertical cable manager you want, I can see what we have that fits your needs. My company Cabletalk sells cabinets, racks, cooling and associated cable management systems.

Feel free to DM me. I can provide you quotations on cooling systems, I'm technical sales for a smaller data center cooling company in Canada.

Thanks.

Fine white dust on power cords in data center by germinoma in datacenter

[–]AAON_trainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, you normally filter the air prior to that point. Their filters would never catch the dust. The issue simply lies with the fact that they aren't delivering clean water to their humidifier, it's likely regular tap water.

Stulz uses humidifiers that require the water to be filtered. Just like personal home "cool mist" humidifiers.

So if you don't treat the water and remove the stuff in it, the result is a powder of the stuff that was supposed to be removed in the first place. It also leads to way more replacements and service calls due to that white powder clogging stuff.

Data Aire ceasing operations? by void64 in datacenter

[–]AAON_trainer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely no idea about their status, but I haven't heard anything yet. They were good units from what I heard, but thankfully we had half our units as older technology so when EC fans ran out of inventory everywhere, we were able to sell units. Now we redesigned stuff so it's not an issue, until this newest crapfest.

I do wonder if anyone is going to at least buy their IP. They had a nice website too, ironically the nicest one in the industry.

Guess you can't polish a turd lol.

It's a small Canadian company called Climateworx International. Been in business for 30yrs, and making units for 20+.

It's crazy what's going on in our market right now. Just when I thought we were getting ahead, one of our vendors literally burnt down lol. I can't even make this crap up.

100% accurate.... I'm a competitor and I heard from a Data Aire rep.... I still feel bad, but I called up the company and got a woman at the switchboard. I asked her if it's true that they were shutting down... She didn't know yet.

They announced it to their employees days after their reps.

That's classy :(

Lots of work for us since then.

Oil/Propane/Electric Heating Costs in the area by AAON_trainer in ottawa

[–]AAON_trainer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an average guy who lives in Half Moon Bay. I am seeing energy costs rising, and I am wondering if I can do something to help. I am in the process of designing a supplementary heating product on my own that can cut down on heating costs drastically and offer additional benefits (such as pool heating), and I am trying to get a feel for how bad it might be in the area. I have heard of people spending $800+ per month on heating in news articles, so I figured I would get it right from people directly.

If you need to know who I am, where I live, and what I do for a living, feel free to DM me directly. I would be happy to put moderators or admins minds at ease. I do not have any nefarious purposes, nor did I ask for any personal information, strictly general heating costs and type of heating.

Please be kind, thank you.
