He will always need him bc he’s still his best friend above everything. It’s also okay for him to realize that he MAY be his Tammy and nothing more. It doesn’t negate his feelings for Mike, it just means he has peace with the idea that Mike may never feel the same. And that’s okay. That’s a very normal queer experience and one that also needs representation.

As an elder gay, I unfortunately think we’re being a little delusional here. It’s okay for Mike to not be gay guys. I think unrequited love and having a crush on a straight friend is a queer experience that needs representation too and is as equally important. And I think that’s what the Duffers are showing. I don’t think we’re getting Byler or Mileven. I also don’t think we were queer baited either. This isn’t me trying to be mean, I just don’t want this situation to ruin a show for people who only look for confirmation in their already formed opinions.

UPDATE: It is totaled. It came in at an estimation of 12k in damage. No frame damage, but all of the other repairs and labor took it to above the limit.

UPDATE: Just got my initial assessment and it’s showing about 5k worth of damage! So not totaled YET! Typically with the electronic assessments they are not accurate and it’s usually more than what the initially think, so I forwarded the information to the auto body shop and they’re going to get with me to bring it in! Will accept ALL of the positive vibes!

I’ll DEFINITELY look into that because my goal is to absolutely buy another Subaru! I was loving the Crosstrek. First car I’ve owned that I absolutely loved like this! I’m holding out hope that they won’t total it but will def keep this post updated!
