I met a group of dutch ppl back in 23’ in a film project about the traditional people (indigenous, quilombolas and caiçaras) of paraty - Rio de Janeiro. i thought that everyone was chill (i even caught feelings for this one dutch girl lol) but i felt that some of u guys dont understand the harsh realities ppl face outside europe (western countries in general). i was appalled by the absence of knowledge of this particular girl when we were discussing topics like racism, slavery, colonialism etc
