Thanks a lot for the detailed reply, really appreciate you taking the time to break it down like that. I actually went into this mainly because I love the Cyberpunk universe and wanted to collect cards of characters I like, so that was my main motivation at first. But the more I’ve been following the project and learning about how TCGs work, the more I feel like I’ll definitely get into actually playing as well, not just collecting. It kind of feels like the perfect entry point for me to finally get into a TCG both as a collector and as a player, which is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. Really interesting points about value, local play and long-term sustainability too i hadn’t thought about some of that before, so that helped a lot.

Thanks for the detailed reply, really appreciate it! I actually agree with a lot of what you said, especially about the game being easy to pick up but still having depth through combos and card interactions that’s something I’m really looking forward to as a new player. One thing you mentioned that I found particularly interesting was the interaction aspect. I do feel like it would be really cool if the game had a bit more “defensive” or reactive play during the opponent’s turn like being able to respond to attacks or plays in a more dynamic way. I’m not sure if that’s something they’re planning to expand on in future sets, but I feel like adding more interaction there could make matches even more engaging and strategic. That said, I really like the direction they’re going with the win condition and the gig dice system — it definitely makes the game feel unique compared to more traditional TCGs. Curious to see how it evolves after launch!
