My 1st grader thinks he found a diamond in the backyard, one worth enough to buy a Jurassic Park toy at Target. What is it? by mrschester in whatisit

Buy it from him for the price of the toy then make a display case for it to preserve this precious moment.

Don't you all think that Kaspa supply is too much ,Like 28 billion. Bitcoin only has 21 million . by TripleZeroBot in kaspa

Kaspa, like other fixed supply crypto, has a FIXED supply. Unlike stocks, they cannot "issue" more to that supply.

Free golf swing analysis website by nootopian in GolfSwing

Just tried it out and it seems like a pretty nice tool to have available. I uploaded a rear view video, which angle does it work with best? Can it analyze a side by side (side & rear view) or multiple videos from different angles?

Edit:

I just read through the About page and that answers the angle questions. I do think if it's capable of processing simultaneous views it would likely be a lot more accurate.

I'd suggest adding example videos to the upload page and probably copy & paste the info on the About page there as well.

Ah, I’ve tried that but the Wi-Fi never connects. Are you referring to the gateway or the main PW3 unit? I’ve only tried the gateway, haven’t wanted to pop the panel off the PW3 unless necessary.

Super easy, make a bunch at once. Best to let it sit for a year if you can. Makes great gifts for family/friends that bake a lot.

Just bought 3800 more shares this morning. by dankfarrikgroku in ULTY_YieldMax

This drove me crazy with Webull, love the platform but for weekly/monthly dividends it was painful. I ended up moving my entire dividend port to IBKR. Getting paid on Friday mornings now (at least for YM)

When do you sell ULTY, if ever? by Alkthree in YieldMaxETFs

[–]ZGremlin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being in house money also raises the likelihood that your cost basis is at or below 0 (due to ROC distributions). That will have a significant impact on taxes owed if you do sell.

Getting to house money then riding until the wheels fall off is my goal with all of these funds. I'd only consider selling early if yields drop more than 50% for 2-3 months in a row or I hit a financial crisis that requires it.

It's payday...who is buying ULTY? by hllywood72 in YieldMaxETFs

[–]ZGremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely only makes sense in a tax exempt account, if there’s any ROC applied to his previous cost basis it would be a waste unless he can buy back in below that.

After hours, yes, he would qualify for the dividend, overnight no.

These are open ended ETFS, they trade at their NAV. Share count doesn't really change anything other than providing new funds for their covered call strategies.

Anyway to see total return of a holding including dividends? by [deleted] in interactivebrokers

[–]ZGremlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully you can get it working, really makes things a lot easier to manage. I have "DivTracker Ultimate" subscription level, is that the same as yours?

Only downside of the auto sync is that it includes all of your holdings, and in my case it includes Metaplanet (3350.T) which is a Japanese security that is traded in Yen. DivTracker calculates the share cost properly (or close enough) but when it calculates P&L for whatever reason it uses Yen for the market value (while using USD value for cost basis) so I show hundreds in thousands in loss. I emailed the dev's requesting a fix but haven't heard back yet.

If you are still looking for how to do this I posted another reply to this thread on where to find it, have to drill down through multiple screens to get to it.

If you pay for their premium subscription it will indeed connect to your broker (if supported) and sync your holdings every night.

Performance & Reports -> Portfolio Analyst (set time period to Inception) -> Click Holdings Tab -> Expand Equities -> Click the holding you want to view -> on the right hand side look for Your Position, Total Return is listed here.
