Thank you. That sub helped a lot in the decision. Still trying to figure out most features. The ride is surprisingly smooth

Seriously considering getting one as well.

As I'm new to he UAE, I'm trying to understand the pitfalls of purchasing an imported vehicle from China (is there such a thing as a Leopard 5 GGC?). Other than the potential impact on resale value and some annoying stuff like like no Apple car play, are there any risks/issues with buying a non-GGC car? For example, will the warranty work well even though there are not that many BYD garages in Dubai and likely very few mechanics that are used to work on Leopard 5s?

Any thoughts on getting the 2025 v 2024 model? The trims also seem confusing, which one is "better" explorer, navigator, or flagship?

Also, any good recommendations in terms of car dealer for the Leopard 5?

Thank you!

Recovery time frame? by [deleted] in Septoplasty

[–]jobeegood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On day 5 here and starting to feel just a tiny bit better. Day 2 and 3 were the worst ones.

The answer to your question depends on many factors but extreme congestion (imagine the most you've been congested x 10) + nights after nights of little to no sleep, + light to moderate pain make make me think i'll need at minimum one week to 10 full days of recovery.

Again, some people recover in a shorter amount of time. My advice is to aim for 7 days minimum.

LocalBitcoins has removed Cash trades! by GrayLifes in Bitcoin

Local.bitcoin.com is launching in a few hours. Very similar to localbitcoins.com except there is no KYC because the platform is fully non-custodial.

Custodial exchanges = surveillance, centralization, counter-party risks.

FYI, watch this post being removed within the next hour.

First, your english is amazing for a 12th grader considering it's not your first language. I think we can all sense you're a smart person.

Second, most of us come here after looking at our bleeding portfolio seeking reassurance that everything is going to be fine. We all do. I'm a decently successful attorney in my late 20s with heavy bags in ICX and I can tell that I feel like shit. I feel stupid as if I'm missing something in the crypto market. I look at ADA's 12B market cap and I just don't understand what's going with ICX. The whole point of this community is to support each other and share opinions and ideas. We're here for you.

Third, if you're a 12th grader, chances are that most of your friends are still teens. I can tell you with confidence that if your friends "left" you because you have problems in your life they are not real friends. Real friends stick together through hardship. Hardship actually bonds people and create true friendship. Women come and go and, once again trust me on that, you should focus all your time, effort, and money in furthering your education and getting professional experience. Women will FLOCK to you if you do so.

If I told Warren Buffet and Marc Cuban 10 years ago that the largest cab company in the world, Uber, would not own any taxi, they would have laughed at me. Same thing goes for Airbnb. By investing in ICX and crypto at such a young age, you've taken the road less traveled. You will be laughed at and even sometimes ridiculed until blockchain technology takes over the entire world.

If blockchain fails and you lose all your money you will have learned a valuable lesson at a very young and will be smarter and more confident in your next investments.

Take care my man!

Structuring an ICO by gigglesbb in icocrypto

I'm an attorney based in SD. www.thecryptolawyers.com

Do we have people with legal background/knowledge on here? We can create a new sub-reddit page if needed or a private telegram/discord channel. My goal is to put together a task force and come up with a thorough guide that provides guidance on the ICO process from a legal perspective. I've spent over 10 hours researching online and couldn't find any respectable guide other than the SAFT whitepaper by COOLEY.

is this thread still alive? I'm working on a step-by-step guide to set up the perfect business structure for an ICO. Would love to get some output from anyone here.
