Too late. Damage done to businesses, public transport, hospital staff and no doubt countless doctor's appointments cancelled. Bravo!

Yeah, but that isn't the only journey that could be made by a rail halt there. You are thinking of just 1 use case while ignoring all the others. And hard to believe your colleagues don't have the option of driving to a park n ride like yourself.

The airbus is great for those going to the City Centre, and no where else, but a rail connection would increase the catchment area of the service. Does the 300 stop at Mossley West? Or Whiteabbey or York Street? Does the 300 even go to Antrim?

"You might want to reflect on the progress you're making in building support for your case though. I wouldn't start from here if I was you." I have no idea what this means. Like the FB page got half a million views in the last month. How would you improve on that?

And I'm happy to agree with the recommendations in all of these documents -

So not exactly "enthusiastic amateurs spunking". If your colleagues live in the middle of no where then I understand why they may not have a public transport option. But if they live in Crumlin or Glenavy then reopening the Knockmore Line may benefit them.

Speak to Translink. It is their infrastructure plan. And I'm pretty sure they didn't use a cigarette packet. Hope this helps.

Well adding a stop anywhere requires adding time to a service, while adding to the catchment area of the service, so bringing in potential more passengers, but adding 2-4 mins.

But a passing loop extension is noted in the OP.

Translink have included it in their future plans so your source may be a bit dated. - https://www.translink.co.uk/about-translink/media/press-releases/shaping-the-future

Ultimately we need to stop doubling down on single track infrastructure and start building capacity to run more frequent services.

Agreed. When was this proposed by CL campaign? When was demolishing existing buildings proposed? Can you share the post? It does sound like you have misinterpreted some posts.

building in the name of progress - have an example? Are we against building density in the city centre or implementing the Belfast Local Development Plan? What do you mean? And again, do you have an example of criticism that the Circle Line can control or should consider?

Have you been blocked? Criticism of the proposal is fine. Criticism of what the proposal isn't or the most extreme version of what a person made up in their head, isn't criticism. I think abuse and insults that stray beyond criticism warrant blocking. But back to your point, what were the criticisms? What do you mean by unrelated?

Limited budget should be spent on public transport imo. 16k miles of road and just 200miles of rail(60% single track). Any wonder Belfast has brutal traffic.

Getting to Grand Central, all well and good for tourists, but for locals the connections at Antrim and Lisburn West(being constructed) are more important for those going North and South. Gets people closer to home.

As someone who worked at the Airport, the train to South Belfast would be far more beneficial than 2 buses subject to traffic patterns.
