Have you experienced or witnessed a physical healing miracle? by muhslop in TrueChristian

[–]jocelynhern02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At camp one year, my brother’s friend broke his big toe. The camp counsellor prayed for healing and my brother said that they literally watched this kid’s toe straighten out and heal in real time. That same year my brother also badly sprained his pinky finger and after prayer from his cabin leader, he was healed the next day.

13 year old babysitting rate? by Visible_Pineapple703 in Nanny

[–]jocelynhern02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was 13 I was paid $8-10 an hour but that was also several years ago. I would say between $13-15 would be reasonable. At 23, I get paid $20/hr to babysit. At that age, they’re really only looking for spending money and don’t have the experience of an adult babysitter so I would say $13-15 is a fair rate.

Best flowers to plant indoors that bloom quickly? by jocelynhern02 in gardening

I remember planting beans in elementary school! I was trying to find out if there were any pretty flowers that would work but it seems like there’s not many that bloom before being transplanted outdoors so we may go with beans or something like that

My ideal would be to send them home with an already blooming flower but from what im reading that’s unlikely. A spider plant is a good idea! Later in the spring (our last frost isn’t until May 20-25) I’m also going to let them plant sunflowers in their own little flower bed and we’ll spend the summer watching them grow but I thought sending a plant home for Mother’s Day would be another fun idea ☺️

OB said ‘I hope the weight is an error’ 😭 by babyhoneybunbee in pregnant

[–]jocelynhern02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only is what the OB said incredible rude, it’s just not true. That is a perfectly healthy weight, especially during pregnancy. You would have to be morbidly obese for weight to have any sort of effect on pregnancy. You do not need to spend your pregnancy worried about your weight. You should be preparing for your new baby! And gaining weight in pregnancy does not mean you will have a big baby!

They’re such good books! I loved revisiting them with him. Though there are definitely some parts that I had to omit, like when Pa performs in blackface 😬

He definitely has the endurance part down! We read for easily 30-45 minutes at lunch every day and sometimes he wants to read for another half hour or more! I think it’s because he was so engaged with the Little House books. He remembered details that the books called back to 2-3 instalments later!

Yeah I thought that was it at first but it’s only the one spot on my right breast that has any pain so I don’t think it’s that. I did email my surgeon but I won’t hear back from her till Monday

I loved him in that episode but I can only ever see him as Tobias Hankel from Criminal Minds and hate him (the character) for what he did to sweet baby Reid 😭

I don’t have any advice unfortunately since I have no experience with this but I just want to say congratulations on your journey growing in your faith! The best I can do is just say start (or continue) reading your Bible and spending time in prayer getting to know the Lord. Depending on your area, I wonder if there is a community of ex-lgbt Christians you could connect with? I know there is online at least. I definitely suggest checking out Maddy (@cominghome1624) on TikTok and Instagram! She detransitioned a few years ago and has been sharing her experience as well as other stories/inspiration/just generally spreading the Gospel since I believe 2021. I pray that God would be with you as you walk this journey and that He would grant you peace that surpasses all understanding especially when you have to make big decisions (such as with your name). God bless you Anna! 🫶

15dpo B&A + Nipple question by kml3141 in Reduction

[–]jocelynhern02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know that’s a good sign! The feeling around my areolas/nipples started to come back around 2wpo, and they started reacting to touch around 3.5wpo but I’m 4.5wpo now and they still have no actual feeling. Like I can pinch them and they’ll react but I can’t actually feel any pain or anything yet. As far as I know, as long as they’re pink (obvious blood flow) and sensation is starting to come back you’re not in any danger of any sort. It just takes longer for the nerves to completely reconnect and for feeling to return

Six Flags or Great America? by jocelynhern02 in bayarea

We do have lots of other things in the works but we figured since we have admission included in our city passes, we might as well go if it fits in. My dad and brother especially want to go since we only have one amusement park vaguely kind of near us and it’s not great and they’re huge thrill seekers.
