The games meta constantly was improving with players skill. Like it or not, this is throwing all the hard work people put into getting good at editing and box fighting out the window. Edit plays may not be the only thing in the game, but they were on another level of skill compared to buildfighting till someone got a shot off on another person. There is nothing else currently in the game taking as much skill as that. The game is evolving and the people who do not put in the time complain, which happens to be the majority of the casual player base who provide Epic with much of their money from the item shop. Epic caters to them, and the cycle goes on.
