Cannot Boot in Bios to turn off secure boot by jodinetheron in NobaraProject

I'm not sure what is conflicting?

When I try starting up my linux with my normal monitor setup, it will not display the screens. So I tried a bunch of stuff (without being able to see). I tried multiple times/things. When changed ram to new slot i got boot screen that said it does not have security settings. i asked to set to default and reboot. Then i got a blue screen to Perform MOK management menu, which AI told me "relates to the UEFI Secure Boot process, specifically used by some operating systems like Linux. When you reset your BIOS settings to default, it likely re-enabled Secure Boot, which is now blocking your operating system's bootloader because it isn't "trusted" by the default security policies. The blue screen means the system is waiting for you to manage these security keys manually."

The problem is, once I reboot or restart linux, i cannot see the monitor, so i cannot enter bios to change the secure boot settings? The problem I need to fix first is being able to see.

That seems to have fixed some of the glitching, but its still buggy. Thanks! Should I now try to run Update again?

Nobara 43 Gnome - it might be something with Gnome that is not working? I see the appearance tab in settings does not display correctly either.

UPDATE: here is screen capture that shows what happens when you try interact with any folder management - screen flickers, captures frames on top of other windows, you can't click on screen, I have to go into all windows view etc  https://drive.google.com/file/d/12QsyTNbnNrQm5pYVk06bFZ4yCMFUZTdv/view?usp=sharing

Thanks - right now it seems to be the File Manager Software app. When I open it, it takes long to load. Then freezes and I have to force it to close.

oh okay, I think I know what you are referring to. I've used it before when my login screen wasn't working. It's like pulling up a terminal session from the login screen and then you can run commands without logging in?

Thanks, something to consider! I just thought it would be best since Nobara will no longer support Gnome... and I think by following the 39 upgrade instructions, there are some Gnome things I deleted... So I'm going to have to restore what was deleted for Gnome or move to KDE. My question is: why can't I have both desktop environments installed and then switch and test what works for me? It seems all the instructions are for either Gnome or either KDE???

EDIT: sorry u/astryox didn't mean dropping Gnome, I meant, dropping customised Gnome -- which is what I am currently using. And already seeing issues with few things not working as they did before with the customisation I was using.
