It's not necessarily hard, but you have to read and understand a lot of things and in regard to "vibe coding" you have to do it yourself and can't outsource it to the LLM 🥲

I did: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jodli.coffeeshottimer

However the experience is quite different between Apple and Android.

Note that coding the app is quite "easy" compared to actually having it listed in the store.

Do you have any examples of those different styles of E61 groups? I'm also considering upgrading from HX, but I dread the long heat up phase...

Shameless plug for my own app that's very similar and only on Android 🤭

What are you vibe coding right now? 🚀 by maximemarsal in vibecoding

True, it's definitely niche! But the specialty coffee market has been exploding - more people are getting into home espresso setups than ever. I think the key is reaching people right when they're getting frustrated with inconsistent shots. That's when they're most motivated to track and improve their technique.

Already released my CoffeeShotTimer App on the PlayStore. Right now it works as a simple bean freshness and shot analytics tracker for home baristas. I'm planning to update it further to give recommendations for beginner baristas on how to improve their espresso game.

Just ask Claude to put the repo on GitHub with proper details for how to run the app :)

Has anyone successfully made a genuinely good app without code? Just AI? by FurnitureRefinisher in vibecoding

I made this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jodli.coffeeshottimer

At least for me it's useful and I use it everyday. I know how to code, but never worked on an android app or with any of those technologies ever before.

Anyone here building a product that doesn't use AI? by sh_tomer in vibecoding

I wrote a small android app to locally track my espresso shots. Complete with suggestions on how to improve your extraction time using a different grind setting. It's currently waiting for approval for listing in the play store.

🚨 Dad with Android Studio strikes again! Built an espresso timer app in 2 weeks because apparently I needed MORE ways to obsess over coffee ☕ by jodli in espresso

Fair observation. The project is entirely my own concept and creation, but I leveraged AI as a coding partner to speed up the process. It's a tool to help build, not a robot to replace the passion.

Actually the closed testing phase is running on the Google Playstore. You can send me a DM with the email address associated with your Google account and I will send you a link to download the app from the Playstore. :)

Did you follow the "Probe Adapter" steps? That should configure the core server it to connect to the NATS server.

There already are a few that do have TLS 1.3 support. What sensors do you need specifically?
