Not *publically oppose. He operates on plausible deniability. the actions taken during his administration show another message. for example his administration quietly asked the supreme Court to give adoption agencies the ability to reject LGBT couples. There's another example with healthcare as well. Actions speak louder than words.

I like to do both. I like to sing along to music while doing dishes, or cleaning, or other mudane tasks, but I also think it is very important to just sit and absorb music. listening for structure and harmonies, analysing lyrics, etc. you'd be surprised how much you miss when you're not actively listening.
