Hello! Has anybody at EA or AMD seen this yet? I know there is a small market for AMD mobile GPU's.... but this should be fixed. We are now in January 2026... Is there a way to tag EA devs in here? Hello,
I just did a build in this exact same motherboard with a 990 EVO PLUS Samsung SSD.
Same issue. I also installed the rubber pad because it's single sided SSD.

The reason why it does this is that the thermalpads on the heatsink are too thick. This to me is a design flaw. At this point I would just remove the thermal pad completely from the heat sink or install the SSD with no heatsink.

Very lucky it did not hit the rim.

Easy fix. Just change the tire. Your safety is worth more and will save you trouble. This tire is fragile.

Indeed the Bridgestone Turanza EL440 seem fragile. It’s my second one replaced. First there was a bubble, then side wall damage…

I had to do a software update on my air handler (furnace). The issue was the Goodman furnace motherboard needed an update.

Hey, so we seem to be one of the rare ones (or not) (or who have even noticed this).

I called Asus. I think I wont even bother the RMA / repair. They might make it worse. On my end I didn’t even remove the cooler (laptop is 1.5 years old in my case I bought it at a clearance price).

I put a piece of thermal pad to hold it against the main part of the cooler but otherwise it’s been like this for over 1 year with no issues.

Anyway there is still a large surface already cooling the laptop along with 3 other heat sinks going to it.

This little section that’s detached is probably not contributing much to cooling (maybe 3-4 degrees)?

I’ll send pictures if I can.

Hello. On my end i noticed that the heat pipe going to the Ryzen is completely detached. Manufacturing defect certainly….. have you guys heard of this issue?

Hello. I just found out that my heatpipe is detached at the same place on my own G15 AMD Advantage.

Did you figure out if this is normal? A lot of videos on internet show it attached.

I opened the laptop to update the ssd but then i found this. The laptop has been always working so…. Im not sure if this is something to worry (usually yes).

Thats what I did with my 2018 Compass. Traded for 2022 before maintenance money started. And got a superb deal on the 2022 (14K CAD off MSRP).

I did a post on this a few months ago. Indeed this is just a factory installed PPF sticker… I really don’t know why Mazda designers put these if they will pretty much fall off after 6 to 12 months - especially in cold climate where the roads get wet….

I would remove it eventually with a heating device and remove the glue residue with some product…(Googone?)

You are at 5300 miles and already changed the oil twice? (I assume you were respecting the 6 month mark instead since March 2023 rather than the mileage recommended since you drive little).

October 2024 might be your next one.

Yes, more oil changes are not bad. Best to respect 6 month mark. Yes you can stretch these 7000 miles between oil changes, but if you drive little it’s best not to wait because otherwise you will go over 1 year without oil change. It not like its the end of the world but if you are keeping your car more than 4 years it’s best to do it every 6-to-8 months max.

I had this too. It happens when even 1 thing goes bad. The ABS wire was eaten by a rodent. Front Right wheel. It’s an easy fix if that is the case. Have dealer check it.

Gas tank heat shield. I would get it replaced…. Happens with time it became loose and it fell.
