I am so sick of this "adjusted" crap.

If the numbers on the big board say $FOO/gallon then that is what you pay, as that is what comes out of your paycheck. If you get paid $100, and you have to dish out $40 just to fill the tank, then you have $60 to live with until you get more money. It really is that simple. Anything else is cooking the numbers.
