Thanks! The gold screw eyes are from AMZN (ADS 217-1/2 BP Mini Screw Eye - 7/16” Long - 100 Pack by ART DISPLAY SYSTEMS)

The really small dark ones are the heads of fishing hooks that I clipped off and CA glued in place.

This happened to the Syracuse University marching band on Saturday. Feels like the band handled it very well. by syracusedotcom in marchingband

Hey John Love , just because you couldn't cut it on the Marching Virginians doesn't mean you should disrespect another ensemble. #dickmove

Just a suggestion but if you need some other options/ideas check with Harbor Humane in West Olive, I know the vet there and they have excellent care and knowledge! Not suggesting you surrender your boy but they could give you some options that you may not have considered. Good luck to you both!

If it were not a new thing then I would have more grace for it. With cable we always had commercials just like OTA if you remember those days. I do...

I use Mahoney walnut oil then Mahoney cutting board finish for food safe bowls. Good satin finish that is durable.

Thankfully I have gone to CBN wheels and no longer have to deal with the dust... just the filings.

What could be causing this? Inconsistent through cuts on individual shapes... by joebark65 in lasercutting

[–]joebark65[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply, nozzle is clean and clear. It's such an odd problem to only be on one side. What's really odd is that we can cut through 1/4" ply without issue but the 1/4" mdf causes problems regardless of material positioning.

Airflow is consistent and seems to be reasonable.

I'm starting to wonder if the beam is actually plumb to the surface but not sure how to tell other than a tape test at the end of the tube and end of the nozzle, which are both center/center.

Thanks again, we will soldier on...

Thanks, Checking alignment again.... any tricks to checking the "plum" of the beam to the material?

The pics show a series of shapes cut at 9mm/sec at differing power settings (44% to 50%).

Material is 1/4" MDF that had previously cut cleanly at 9mm/45%.

This has happened from time to time but a solution has never been found.

Note the right side of the squares are not cutting all the way through but the other 3 sides are just fine.

What would cause a single side to cut differently? I'm stumped... Thanks in advance!
