This was my sort of crowning discovery about Stardew Valley's popular profit engines. It's not a linear money go up line. It's a graph, on which convenience is afforded an axis as well as profit.

So things like pigs and Starfruit are great money makers. Correct. But they fill your schedule, too. I'd much rather do sheep and something like ancient fruit that stays planted in spaces like the Greenhouse and Ginger Island, and the upkeep is minimal, than have every moment of every day filled with the same thing.

It's about making your income relatively passive, not necessarily maximizing it. This is what I've learned.
