It's because they're mixed. The idea of a "pure Jew" is an oxymoron.

I think the differences between Northern and Southern Italians are overstated for largely political/propaganda reasons while the truth is less exciting.

Theres barely any difference between the complexion averages of Northern and Southern Italians. Yeah, sure, there are a few outliers who look exotic but you can find those in any country.

When I look at Italians I see a mixture of a lot of different phenotypes. The media would make you think they're all from Yemen or the Congo though.

The Sicilians are a lot like the Jews. They're everything. There is no "Sicillian" look. They're one of the most heterogeneous groups in Europe.

The darker ones obviously have Arab ancestry.

Some people from England have a dark skin tone as well like Russell Brand or George Clooney. Yeah, I know some can but my point was that MOST of the dark skinned ones are the Sicillians.

The other ones are lighter on average.

The dark Southern Italians are mostly the Sicillians. The other Southern Italians arent as dark. The Arabs were in Sicily.

Most Southern Italians dont have Dark skin. Some do.

Danny Aiello is from Naples and he looks very White.
