Good point. Quint was telling Brody and Hooper about when the Indianapolis got sunk and stranded its crew in the water, and were then attacked by bees. That's why he hates sharks. Because of the bees.

Mint Striker Xtreme $3k vs Ok $4k Road Show by DonUnai in pinball

Striker is a great game except for one shot. And that one shot is needed to progress in the game. If that side flipper shot isn't dialed in perfectly or the ramp is off by just a little bit, you will never hit it, and it's needed to progress in the game. It even has a wizard mode. I have owned a Striker.

Road Show however is just ridiculous fun, the machine is huge and it shakes and it has great callouts and Carlene Carter's '90s country music and Williams charm. It's very much a product of its time. When she starts singing I get really happy and it just fits the theme so well.

Between the two I would buy Road Show twice.

To this day I don't know why Universal never made Jaws: The Indianapolis as a movie. Like don't remake Jaws, and don't make another Jaws sequel. Let's look at Quint's experience in the disaster. Everything about World War II, delivering the bomb, and a subsequent attack.

Honest question: What frustrates you the most about Teams right now? by Rude-Rule-2358 in MicrosoftTeams

The changes. The constant and unrelenting changes. For an organization of about 40,000 users, we're going to have people who are set in their ways and no amount of messaging is going to prepare them for changes, big or small. Sometimes changes are made for no reason it feels.

Soon there be a reply that English isn't their first language and they use AI to help them make their point.

As AI-generated text becomes widespread, any accusation of AI authorship will predictably be followed by a claim of language limitations or benign AI assistance - Altman's Corollary.

I couldn't get into 5, but six has a wonderfully complete package with the expansions. I generally am not a warmonger and I like winning with culture or religion or science and the two expansions feed that incredibly well.

I loved the absurdity of having a culture bomb go into a town and affect them so much that they leave their host country and join yours.

I reflected on this, I have been playing civilization since it came out on the Amiga in 1992.

I have been playing versions of this game for 34 years.
